Durning our conversation they discussed the meaning behind their name Girll Codee, life in Brooklyn, New York teaching women how to be strong, having an interest in playing instruments growing up, not having much support starting out in New York, going viral with their Girl Code freestyle, meeting each other at church, starting their dynamic as a group after Shy Bigga wanted to quit rap, HighSiddity wanting to manage Shy at first, learning that everything that glitter isn’t gold as they enter into the music industry, balancing each other out as a dynamic, making the best music when they feel their emotions, going on tour, the art of lyricism, dropping their new EP “Girll Codee”, transitioning from the unsigned to signed, their single “Chaa Chaa Chaa” ft.
