A school that doesn't understand the definition of "volunteer" should not be teaching kids.
Why would the disenroll kids because the parents didn't complete volunteer hours? Is it some kind if a special private school?
Because if its a public school they shouldn't be able to do that.
This is a case of a school that has gone mad with power. The kid was being educated; the school just simply expelled him, presumably, because they didn't want to accommodate him.
Just my guess, but these charges should never have been filed and need to be dropped.
Yet the parents can home school the kids and teach them nothing. When I was growing the school did not even call your parent unless you miss a few days.
My daughters school threatened us, they were going to take us to court. We had to take her out early for speech therapy. If the school would have done their job and helped her with her speech

In most cases, you do not have the best and the brightest people running these schools. I live in a county with declining enrollment in our schools. The school board wanted to spend between 100 million and $200 million for new schools that aren't needed. Right votes eliminated those school board members at the last election.... If the school prevents the child from attending and then they say that the parent is responsible for noting the child to school someone needs to lose their job.. these are supposed to be highly educated people but basically they have a shingle on the wall but they're not particularly smart.
Kicking a kid out of school because they’ve been absent is completely antithetical to their goal of encouraging school attendance.
Now yall know wwho owns your kids and its not us.
This is why I'm so glad I no longer have to deal with public school. This is all about money. They don't care if these kids learn or not. They want that rating. Trust me, I worked in a school and heard it all. You don't have to send your kids to school. Please stop sending your kids to public school based on fear.

I don't trust any teachers. I broke my arm at recess in the second grade and the told my teacher 2 times that I hurt my arm and she would not look at it she told me to go back and play. I ran to the office and told the secretary. I had to hold my arm to keep it from falling or the bone would stick up in my skin. I wasn't crying because it didn't start hurting until I was on my way to the hospital
How much time did they mandate NO SCHOOL due to " COVID " ?

Take your kids out of school now and teach them how to survive.
“Are you scared?” This “mom” is trying to create fear in her son. No matter rev the situation, this is inexcusable.
Why wasn’t her child in school?
She still needs to follow rules. Send a note or let the teacher know.

It's explained in the video that the kid had to have multiple therapies and tests done he has speech issues and learning disabilities and all those were excused.
The school kicked him out and marked everyday after that he did not attend as an unexcused absence even though they already removed him from the school without his mother's consent.
