He corrects people immediately when they’re wrong, sets the record straight, doesn’t let things slide, but is generous towards people right after he corrects them. This doesn’t change over the years. I admire and respect even this very young Barry, immensely.

So many people overlooked him once he lost his hair and seldom sang lead. He was a great musician and Barry once said in an interview, that Maurice could play most anything he put his hands on. Unlike his twin, Maurice COULD dance. However, I loved all of them. They were all super talented and so similar in many ways, yet they retained their individuality which is also an achievement.

In 67 and 68 Bee Gees consisted of 5 members, also Vince Melouney who left the group by the end of 1968. There was some extra members later they needed to play some instruments, they came and went on. It's fair to say, I think, that the Bee Gees are the 3 bothers, Barry, Robin and Maurice.

Didn't get shared out equally. Robin, of course lost most of his, I think with his cancer treatments. Shame, to think of all that hair he had which was often unruly-looking, even his Mum commented on that in an interview on one of my bio DVDs.

Andy and Barry Gibb were my first rock crushes. Now I’m wondering why I hadn’t noticed Maurice.
So many people overlooked him once he lost his hair and seldom sang lead. He was a great musician and Barry once said in an interview, that Maurice could play most anything he put his hands on. Unlike his twin, Maurice COULD dance. However, I loved all of them. They were all super talented and so similar in many ways, yet they retained their individuality which is also an achievement.

At 1:55, his eyes are so glossed over & a dead give away! I've often wondered how they were able to travel back then with weed, etc. Guess they prob didn't have dogs sniffing for drugs on international flights. When I flew home last summer, I went through Chicago O'Hare & they now have Cannabis Amnesty Boxes, to dispose of your weed before boarding. No questions asked!🌿😂

Colin Petersen was fired, allegedly for having lost interest in the group and missing recording sessions, and for his refusal to do any acting in the film, despite his experience in front of the cameras. In 67 and 68 Bee Gees consisted of 5 members, also Vince Melouney who left the group by the end of 1968. There was some extra members later they needed to play some instruments, they came and went on. It's fair to say, I think, that the Bee Gees are the 3 bothers, Barry, Robin and Maurice.

Didn't get shared out equally. Robin, of course lost most of his, I think with his cancer treatments. Shame, to think of all that hair he had which was often unruly-looking, even his Mum commented on that in an interview on one of my bio DVDs.
