- Y'all I finally got my prosthetic. And I couldn't be happier. in this video I'm going to show you how I put my prosthetic on show you the functions of the grips and what it can do. And tell you a little bit about the hand itself. I hope you all enjoy it. And be sure to leave a comment down below and hit that like button.
wow they are getting better at building these hands for people . very cool
I didn't find your bionic hand turning 360 creepy. It was really cool actually.
Def comes in "handy" for those hard to reach places!!! 🤣
@@thebionichandman8967 I want to be an amputee so much would you possibly be able to explain to me how I might be able to get that accomplished
Thank you for showing this. My son lost his right hand July 2021. It’s a year now. He has a body powered “hook”. We’re working on a robotic hand. He likes psyonic ability hand. Im hoping he’s making the right choice. For his first prosthetic robotic hand. Thanks. Be well! You got this!
I chose the taska bc it's made stronger. Due to me being rough with things. That being said other hands are just as good and have good durability but the taska has a bit more especially with it being water resistant as well. Also other hands are more aesthetically pleasing as they look more hand like than the taska. I on the other hand "pun intended" 🤣 do not care what it looks like so long as it functionally does what I need it to do.
Thank you my friend I'm on trial of getting a electronic hand though different make. Until they found my nerve sensors I couldnt regulate the opening or closing Both red and blu sine wave on the mobile up were bouncing all the time. Now I'm waiting and waiting for a phone call Surely I will not be using it at sea I had done myself a plastic stump out of a drain pipe slotted to be formed as my arm is and plastic welded and attached a thinner pipe to hold the rod Good luck take care Your description how the hand work is more clear than that given by the technicians were i went
I am still one handed, been fighting insurance for 4 months so far but i am working on getting a taska, 6 months with out my left hand, below elbow
I know exactly how you feel my accident happened last December in 2019. started the process for getting a prosthetic maybe about April ish. And spot insurance until The end of October and finally got my prosthetic November 20th. Keep fighting man I know it's a long process but it's well worth it hopefully you don't end up like me and you get so used to not having your hand that sometimes the prosthetic feels like it's more of a burden than it is an asset to helping you. nonetheless I love my prosthetic it does help me out a lot just sometimes it's more of a pain sometimes depending on the activity and I'm trying to do.
insurance company's don't give a shit I had to get a solicitor involved 4 years later
I count at least 14 fishing rods, thumbs up for you sir.
Lol the rack holds 15 but I have more laying up against the wall elsewhere lol
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account??
I stupidly lost the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Talon Kellen Instablaster =)
@Isaiah Dante thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm trying it out now.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Isaiah Dante It worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass!
Hey man, whatever name you settle on I'm just glad you're doing your thing
💪👍👌 GODBLESS YA BRUDDA ✝️💗😌🙏z
Wow amazing stuff, you're very inspirational person. I'm very impressed!!
Thank you
@@thebionichandman8967 wow! this guy looks awesome with only one arm I'd love to become an amputee could you please tell me how I might become an amputee
Looks sick dude. You've gone full mech now!
Haha thx man! It's truly been a blessing having it. I never realized how much having 2 hands made thermos easier till I lost mine. But that's no excuse to slow down, his keep pushing forward!!!
@@thebionichandman8967 heck yeah, get em beau!
As a fellow Texan, I need that shirt you're wearing!
@@andrewc.2952 My wife got it for me. I think maybe in Amazon
That’s impressive, my son was born with out he’s left hand………. Hes Training to be jockey and we have a lot of problems maintaining my bespoke prosthetic…….. we could use some serious help, formula 1 have been approached but they don’t seem to have any time to commit to the development…
Good luck geeza, 🇬🇧
Damn sorry to hear that. Hope all goes well. Just remember one thing, there's always someone with more difficulties doing the same work. So keep your head up and don't give up.
The next step is a wireless control that can be placed or glued in the back of the head like a neural link so the movement be automatic that will be killer 🤯
Firework took my sons hand. Rocket called welcome to the jungle. I’ve seen you tube videos of that rocket going off early. I hate all fireworks!
Shouldn't hate fireworks for something that's not controllable. It's a known risk that it can happen. That's like saying you hate all dogs bc one out of all dogs bit you. I'm sorry it took your son's hand and I hope he's adapting as well as I have.
I'm testing out the new smaller Taska today!
has it wrist rotation like on this video?
Questions: what’s the point of having the Taska if your greifer is stronger and can perform heavy duty tasks?
Also, have you looked into bebionic? How do they compare?
I’m a recent forequarter amputee and I’m trying to decide which components to get
To answer the first question.....it's like asking a mechanic to barrow a tool I guess. It's always the right tool for the right job. Whereas your hand could do a lot of the things for you when having it but after losing it a bionic hand does not compare to having a biological hand. So with that being said there's always the right tool for the right job A task is great for many things and the griper is great for many other things. As you mentioned the task has a greater grip force and can handle heavier duty stuff case in point that's what I use my task for I use it for outside stuff if I'm cutting the grass or I got to hold something really firm and tight I use my greifer. If I'm inside doing something that's not so I guess hard then I'll use my My taska hand.
As for your second question, I did not look into the bebionic originally mainly because when I found out about the taska hand. I was told that it was one of the most at the time durable hands and it was water resistant. With me being very accident-prone and very destructive on a lot of things that I own that seemed like the logical choice. That being said I have broken my taska hand two or three times.
As far as they compare I would say they should be same, with a few differences here and there.
@@thebionichandman8967 have you looked into the ETD? I’m not sure how it measures up to the greifer.
@@ltknesbitt I have unfortunately I've lost my insurance and can no longer apply for one. Is have to find them for sale by other amputees. Until I get my insurance fixed
@@thebionichandman8967 dang man I hope that works out for you, and thank you so much for the information

Wow dude IAM getting a bionic hand and starting a CZcams channel?? It's bad ass!!
That's awesome, best of luck to ya!
@@thebionichandman8967 Thank you!!!
I’m getting an i limb but the fingers are too long and I heard the taska is better for work
Not too sure on the I limb but I love my taska hand. It's pretty cool
I have a taska, I was told to manually move the thumb with my other hand to line it back up!
Really??? Hmmm
@@thebionichandman8967, you can also adjust the finger it happens to me a couple times a day!
@@adamdunn4100 how do you adjust it???
@@thebionichandman8967just grab ahold of it with you other hand and move it up or down till it lines up.
@@adamdunn4100 oh okay lol.
Please my small brother just lost his left hand in tribal fight and he want a false hand how will I get one for him
Missing my right hand, applied for one today out of the 23 settings I am surprised you did not use the thumbs up at the end of the video.
Lol damn why didn't i think of that? I'm too great at these videos 🤣. Hope you love it when you get it
I have been learning to fly a aircraft, it has a Tbar throttle and brake Sling 2 aircraft common training one. It was funny today I had a appointment with prosthetics place and went to the wrong one thanks to google maps. I was in luck they had a guy in there testing his for the first time, so I have jumped ship now. Thumbs up and the middle finger was the best setting he liked.
All the best will let you know how I go.
@@Nessy.. sounds good. Looking forward to hearing back from you
@@thebionichandman8967 Today I received the funding for the Taska and thanks for the recommendation for the wrist suggestion as it was extra funding as a option. Go for the casting next week. I went to another prosthetic guy for advice it was out of his skill level, and he showed me your video.
Thanks very much for your videos core people are watching. I will let you know how it goes.
@@Nessy.. that's awesome! Can't wait to hear how much you enjoy it
How is the grip strength? Could you hold up your body weight with that hand?
So I'm sure you could, however with the way mine connects to my arm I would lose suction in the socket before the hand itself comes loose. But the grip strength on it is fairly decent
Хочу такую
How much is it, please?
I am from india... I lost my left hand bro... please help me... I wanted prosthetic hand
I think I’m going to buy one. but the selling point for me is you can rotate it 360 and you can flip people off with it. Imagine driving on the freeway and get flip off by a robotic hand 😂
It's def a great Hand to have. Make sure you get the Gen 2 tho. It's even more water proof than mine and unlimited 360 rotation due to the updated quick disconnect wrist they made. You should look it up
Is it possible to uploade grip patterns you have made to let other Users try them out ?
You know I've never thought of that. I can definitely look into it though oh you know what. I can actually save the file on my program on my computer. It's almost like a backup file so like if I send my hand in for repairs I can back up the grips that I've set for it all the parameters and everything that I that I customize my hand to. And then when I get my my loaner hand I can update that hand to what my original hand was at and then it'll be like you know having my original and then same thing when I get my hand back I just re-upload the backed up file. I'm sure I could save that for not save it but send it somewhere because it is an actual file but it would have to work with taska only though
How do u get a taska hand?
So you have to get with your doctor. And a Prosthetist. Together they make a prescription for the prosthetic of your choice and send it into your insurance company.
That god must have oracles you to have fun. That's the coolest god I've ever seen.
Σd(´・ω・`)良いセンスだ
I'm probably going to sell mine. it's not a bad prosthetic I just do better without one and I have the Coapt2 with it. if anyone needs one shoot me a msg
i know what you mean. ive gotten so use to being without it that its almost annoying to use some times
@@thebionichandman8967 yeah exactly, it's a great device but I'm below the elbow amputee was born like this. wearing the Taska feels like I'm wearing a cast after a broken arm. hope I can sell it for a reasonable price to someone who needs it and finds it useful
