  • In June 2021, a year before he passed away, we were privileged to be welcomed by Manfredi to his London home to glean insights - in his own words - into the influences and philosophies that have contributed to this Maestro of Eclecticism's inimitably instinctive, and much sought-after, interior design style.
Sharing glimpses into his evolution from matchbox-collecting schoolboy in 1960's Florence, to becoming an international art dealer for some of the greatest collections and collectors in the world, this film - for just a few moments - will remind those who ever spent a meaningful moment with Manfredi just a little of the magic that led him to become one of the most admired and adored figures in the London and international art and design scenes.
With warmest thanks to the late Manfredi for spending time with us that day - and for his hallmark hospitality - and to Manfredi’s friends and family who have helped to create this film in his memory.
The auction will take place at Dreweatts on Wednesday 24 April 2024.

The world loses a lot when someone with enormous culture and good taste leaves. It's as if we said goodbye to the Renaissance and fell into limbo. Men like this don't make wars, they build Civilization.

Extremely impressive art collection...It merely lacks a Faberge egg. 😉

Putting things from different periods and centuries next to each other haphazardly because wild juxtapositions are trendy these days does not constitute good taste.
