Where did you find that item. I need it badly, as a 73 year old kid.
Haha!
Haha you are cool. Is quate fun he :) if u can't blow currectly on real one then why not
Kids of all ages can buy it on Amazon. In the States go to www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y47RQGF?pf_rd_r=G92JN47QP4887C8YY34F&pf_rd_p=edaba0ee-c2fe-4124-9f5d-b31d6b1bfbee
"As a 73 year old kid" đđđ nice humor.
Alfred L Early jr Me too!
I'm a 75 y/o retired research biochemist who started making and playing the Native American Style Flute back in 2016. When I wanted to play in a different key, I had to make another flute. When the Mini came out, I bought it and discovered I could assign the fingerings to resemble the NA flute and with the App I could play in any key I desired. In addition I can play in three octavesâŠcan't do that with the NA flute. The App's 50 sounds just make playing the Mini all that more fun. When I realized the six main fingerings were the same as the sax, I then purchased your Pentatonic courses to learn more. For me, the Aerophone Mini is the perfect optionâŠI love it!!! You are a fine instructor. Thank you for all you offer.
Very cool thanks for sharing.
Me as a kid when my mom asked how I did in my exam:
9:14
He was proud of his score.
I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago to amuse myself at weekends while I'm stuck in the house. It's a lot of fun, and I've used it a couple of times in home recordings to play lead lines as I'm a terrible keyboard player. The main reason for getting it was that I could play to my heart's content without getting strangled by anyone else in the house.
I own one of these and I love it. I'm a bass player, so this was a fast way of getting into a breathing type of instrument. I disagree that it's only for casual use though. I play it in a professional band and gig with it (jazz). And it sounds much better through a sound system than through its own speaker. Sometimes I don't see the point of learning more complex fingerings for sax or other instruments because I can do three octaves on this little bad boy. I didn't know it could be used as a midi controller -- that is cool -- thanks for that tip!
Would you recommend this for worship band use?
it also saves you from all the hemorrhoid playing all the low frequency saxophone
I bought one of these about a year ago and really like it. Thanks for this. It's re-ignited my enthusiasm as you've shown more possibilities than I'm using. Thank you.
Iâve had my AE-10 for about a year now and I use it daily. Being a collegiate musician, and playing different wind instruments all day for different classes/ensembles, the aerophone is nice to practice sight-reading, ear training, improv, memory and scales without tiring my embouchure out. I pretty much use the aerophone to ârough draftâ all the things I play so when I get to the practice room I can just fine tune. Plus I can plug-in my headphones and practice when ever I find some random free time commuting to class or in my dorm. It wont replace your sax but it can aid your progression and music making abilities. I highly suggest any sax player looking for a practice tool or midi controller thatâs not a pad or piano to get the Aerophone.
What a refreshing review. You talk intelligently about the instrument and its features and praise it for what it is rather than criticising it for not being something different. Well done.
I bought the Aerophone AE-10 a while ago and I love it. It uses complete saxophone fingerings and has a ton of synthesized instruments. You can connect an ipod into the input jack and play along with backing tracks through headphones, or connect to an amp. It sounds amazing and plays and feels like a real sax. Great line of instruments.
So.... itâs an EWI (electronic wind instrument)... but not THE EWI (electronic wind instrument)...
HE DID IT. HE SAID THE LINE.
NOOOOOO
I was just thinking about you and the EWI (prob why I got recommended this in the first place)
insaneintherainmusic this is so far from being an EWI. As an EWI owner and performer the EWI is on such a higher level than this. Aerophones are so not worth the purchase. (I am a previous owner of one). That being said This is a great instrument for beginners. But It is over priced.
@@DJ-bz4vi How do you think this Aerophone compares to the EWI USB for someone who can't afford a more high end EWI?
I bought one of these after I watched this and its Very close to perfect during recordings. 10/10 would recommend
I got a Aerophone AE10 (with no Bluetooth). Iâm very happy because it is an awesome instrument (professional), and I donât need to play with other sound resources cause there are 100 sounds and an additional 100 blank banks to build your own sounds. On that occasion, I saw many videos on CZcams about reviews of AE-10 and AE-05 (it comes with Bluetooth), and I got help from Mr. Panel an expert in those instruments on CZcams. Actually, I love the design and the size of the earphone mini to be a casual instrument. It's great for having fun anywhere. In my opinion humble opinion, it's a good choice and a great cost-benefit.thank you very much, sir.
That looks super-fun, with a price and self-contained portability more like the old Casio DH than a Yamaha or Akai wind controller (and the extra hardware you'll need). But unlike the DH, not a toy, and it sounds nice on the sax and the synths, too! Someday, I'd love to see a wind controller that could be fingered like a clarinet, but with a market of just me, I doubt there'll be any takers
For a clarinet fingering EWI, just look for the akai EWI
This is great stuff man I've been watching your videos now for 3 hour & I'm enjoying every second of it thanks a lot buddy
It's nice wind instrument and its very good for kids that want to be a saxophonist in the future to start with. I love it for the fact that is has different tuning. Thank you so much for sharing this to our view. God bless you
Its might be me but electronics trying to match a saxophone never sound like a saxophone sounds like a weird trumpet.
Wow was not expected all these likes, cliche ik but its bizarre from this statement
Don't insult the beautiful Trumphet! It's the start of the Sax!
Sounding similar to a real sax isnât the point. The point is having a broad spectrum of possibilities, options and versatility.
Hook it to a Kronos and hear how it sounds.
the instrument itself doesn't sound like anything, it's better used like a MIDI controller wind instrument. it can sound however you want it to sound with the right sample library.
Joel Pierson True I was watching Doctor Mix I believe it's called on CZcams and stumbled across a wind attachment for a synthesizer that sounded incredible. Saxophone, Trumpet sounds were scary accurate. It however wasn't an EWI like this.
Thank you for the review. At the youthful age of 69, I've taught myself to read music over the past couple of years with my guitar. I'm excited to start working with this instrument to expand my musical flexibility. I bought a demo instrument today from Sweetwater for $270 plus tax - shipping included. My wife and dogs will appreciate the silent-practice feature. đ
Really loved the sound. It is ridiculously cool and really loved your crazy demo.
Thank you, Mr. Jay. This truly helped me on whether to buy this for my 6 year old son (who wants to play the sax, like his dad- just like I did with my father).
I have the AE-10, which is great for hotel rooms, late at night, etc, also to use as a midi input. The major advantage over the Mini is that it has all the sax keys, pretty much in exactly the right places (palm, bis, F#, etc). Plus small and light for travel. OK, without an add-on programme it doesnât really sound like a sax, but for practice is a pretty good substitute. A deal more pricey, but for my 2 cents better value for money in the long run, at least for anyone who plays sax.
HI, Andrew. I was curious about that. Have been looking for an alternative for "silent" practice. One question: I know the Go has bluetooth connectivity in, but is there a way to play and have the sound output through bluetooth speakers? Or would I need to connect it by line to an amp? thanks!
Yes I play now the AE-10 for years and use it daily. The fingering is perfect the sax one. So I do economics not using my Tenor every day and slow down the time when the tenor needs a repair. Just a question to save money on the long run! And when you strengthen the embouchure (a paramter you can adjust) and do some tricks (pitch up to 250 Hz and then adjust other parameters like Lippressure and power to blow to simulate your embouchure on the real sax) so youdo not loose your embouchure even if you don't play Sax for weeks.
I also have the AE-10 and agree totally with your comments.
UN Capoeira Club For me, for âsilentâ practice itâs a lot, lot better than any sax mute, including the expensive Imperial Stormtrooper ones. It can be connected to speakers or headphones by cable, or output by USB. Headphones are useful for really quiet practice. It doesnât have BlueTooth
Thomas Krause Agreed, there are lots of parameters to play around with and having a âreedâ does also help a great deal with maintaining embouchure. Each to their own, but I switched off the âbendâ thumb control and also the double octave keys. Also, when using for scale practice itâs quite fun to play around with the sounds, or maybe thatâs just me ...
Lmao! I was ready to jam to the intro and i was shocked with the different sound hahah
After 40 years of playing, Bells Palsy has knocked me out for almost 4 months now. Right now would have been a great time to be incorporating what I learn from watching you Jay, but I am down for a little longer.
This funky gadget may be just what I need to get me through the next however-long-it takes to beat this thing and at least make some kind of music! Thanks as always, Jay. Keep up the great work.. can't wait to see your 4 year old cranking out tunes someday!
I have one, and it's fantastic! I'm limited in how heavy an instrument I can play due to a neck injury, so this really helps a lot. The only caveat I have is that while it works amazingly on a Fruit Machine (Apple device) it has a bit more difficulty connecting to a Windows PC via Bluetooth MIDI. It works far better on PC through the USB connection. I use it with Reaper, the DAW I prefer, and you do need to be familiar with MIDI controllers to make best use of it. If all you need is audio, you can plug in the headphone jack and import it as an audio input, like you would with vocals or acoustic instruments over a microphone, or via pickups.
I've a freshman in HS, I've been playing for 6 years. But this... I need this.
No you absolutly do not
i don't think we asked what year you are in high school
WDFQofficial ok
cheers, my brother got the guitar bow that emulates cellos. crazy things we find these days.
That's the EBow.
I have the Roland AE 10 which is the higher-end model. Great synth sounds and violin as well. Overall really good sounds (flute, violin, and synth). If you are travelling or don't want to bother neighbours - this is a great choice. You can also use headphones and hook up backing tracks. The inboard speaker isn't great but you can easily attach a speaker. Granted not like an acoustic sax but to rehearse quietly (especially if you are working on your time and rhythm) it is great. I don't regret getting it at all.
This is a great review, thanks! Keep them coming.
Doesnât look surprised âI got 100â yes jay good job đ€Ł
I have the AE-10 (the full high end Aerophone) and use it regularly to perform. It is mostly great.
really wish they included rechargeable batteries on them, and while the sounds are mostly great, some of them have a delay making it impossible to play fast and accurately.
But it is really great. Audiences LOVE it and I always get about a million questions about it.
omg, this is amazing!!!! I want this! also just wanted to say thank you! you basically taught Me how to play sax!! thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!
It has that 80â-90âs sound to it when synthesizers were in vogue. It is also a great novelty instrument to perform in a band or open mic performance. I recall another company brought one of those out back in the 80âs(I think it was Casio).
Yamaha also had one and it is still produced today(I think).
Great demonstration, Jay.
as a flute player who experiments with vocal/DAW effects and guitar effect pedals. I wonder if you would just be easier to get one of these EWI type of instruments?
I'm imagining that, a loop pedal, and an assortment of other cool effect pedals would provide hours and hours of fun. You could play drums and bass through that, loop it and jam forever.
definitely lots of possibilities
Hi Jay, thank you for this Roland Aerophone Mini review. As you said this would be good for beginners and also for people who want to practice but feel a traditional saxophone would make too much noise. Since subscribing to your CZcams channel, I have learned a lot, for that I thank you. I hope that you and your family are safe, happy and healthy during the current world situation. Take care.
Hi I love you chanel and I've done tons of reasearch about saxophones you have been a great huge help! I just wanted to say thanks.
Wow very impressiveđ„đ„đ„ i need one of this đđ
I was banned from singing at school in the choir and assembly and had my recorder demoted to a triangle - then that was confiscated too. Tried a guitar and got nowhere. Got a keyboard for the pandemic and made a little progress with an app. Bought the Aerophone Mini AE-01 and it seems far easier, portable and sounds OK with headphones on the violin and saw at least. You do have to press the keys quite firmly.
The overstepped myself big time by buying an actual real sax, thinking it's the same without the batteries. Finally mananged to get a noise out of it - wow it's loud. It (or more likely me) sounds terrible. Have checked it all and swapped the mouthpeice, reed and ligature. Any tips?
Thanks Jay, great channel.
Not to pile on, but how do you get demoted from the triangle? Hahaha SMH
Thank you sir. Always interesting and informative.
New computing devise for me - had to subscribe again... Like this little gem you've demo'd. Wold be great for my Granddaughter who is jus beginning to learn the piano. Might be fun for me to have as well!! Cant beat any SAX.
Hi Jay looks fun perfect for holidays in our motor home
yes good idea.

Oh wow-- I have to put this on my wish list. Hard not to want the more sophisticated ones!!! I always wanted the casio one from back in the 80s too.
I really enjoy this session , I been wanting to learn more about this instrument. I would love have one!!!!!!

Good instrument
When you change the instrument it sounds like the loading screen of the og star wars battlefront 1
That thing looks like fun. I have been looking into the EWI also. Would like you to do review on those if possible. They can be a bit pricey so may not be practical but I have especially appreciated your hardware reviews. I've even bought several items because of your recommendations. Thank you.
Wow thanks for advertising this nice alternative portable Roland Aerophone synth. Pretty cool
Roland Aerophone AE-10G Digital Wind Instrument:
Hello fellow and future musicians,
I normally don't complete reviews but, felt compelled to do so with the Aerophone. I played Tenor Sax and later Alto back in the mid-seventies while in middle school and high school. Sam Ash of (New York City) was the go-to store for musicians even back then. As all brass & wind instrument players know the hardest task is being able to practice and play without disturbing others.
In middle school & high school, I was fortunate enough to have parents that encouraged practice. I also was in a neighborhood band. Then I went into the military (6-years) and my playing stopped. In the years since I have always thought and longed to be able to play again. But, as we all know a saxophone is not a quiet instrument. The last (2) saxophones I owned I donated to a church due to not being able to play anymore as I currently reside in a condo.
That brings me to the Aerophone AE-10. The instrument is awesome and has me feeling like a child with a new toy. It does not matter now, day, afternoon, or late nights you can practice. I recommend investing in a good pair of over the ear headsets so you can immerse yourself in playing. The beauty of the Aerophone is that it will have you sampling and playing other instruments also. I called a couple of my childhood musician buddies and had them listen to a few lines over the phone on the Aerophone without telling what I had and they thought I had gotten another saxophone.
I would like to give a (Great Big Shout-Out) to Sam Ash Music of Margate, Florida. and Mrs. C. Marshall in the horn section & Studio Breaks in Headsets & Audio. Yes, I could have gone to another music store but, I consider Sam Ash Music to be part of my extended family and their service is awesome. I know in the very near future I will be buying another Alto, Tenor, & Soprano Sax. I have my eyes on the Cannonball models :) Let the music play......
"Chance Favors Only the Prepared Mind."
Louis Pasteur
This is like a dream come true, for me. I play around with a melodica, and Iâve always wished for an electronic version that could be played over headphones so my wife wonât yell at me, lol. $300, though, ouch.
I tried the upper model, ae-10 for a couple of weeks but did not keep it. Mouthpiece and Reed were not making any differences when trying to apply pressure. There was no way to get close to my old cheap wood clarinet. Octave keys are tiny. I would recommend to buy it from a place where you can send it back if you don't like it. Keys are noisy and plastic body makes it look as a toy. However it can make practicing silent but I m not sure this is something one would keep on the long run.
Jay, you always teach how important it is to work on embouchure and long tones, and overtones, and all that stuff. You kind of miss all that playing with that toy. Also you can't practice palm keys, so overall, I think I would have invested my money in a better mouthpiece, or to try a different kind of reeds. Either way, I am glad you like it, have fun and keep safe. Your videos are always great and lovely to watch.
2:20 this giveâs me what I need, My own bubble. =0) thanks
I am curious if this works as a midi input for writing software like Musescore. That would be awesome because i can never remember how to repeat my random jams.
That would be a nice usage. Still, 300 is just too much.
You can go audio to MIDI in reaper pretty easily, would let you do what youre looking for with your sax/voice. Its a free DAW too.
I use my EWI with MuseScore with no issues I bet its safe to assume this thing would work too as long as your Mac or pc sees it as a midi device.. In his video GarageBand sees it so MuseScore should as well
@@tmarksify Nice, that's cool to hear. Might buy a regular one now.
It sounds nice and simple enough to learn and play on. I wouldn't mind one.it doesn't quit sound like, but you convinced me to get one thanks.
What a great review. I really enjoyed it. I would like to learn the alto sax, and I stumbled upon this. Now I want this instrument! I love composing music, but I only know how to play the piano. I'd really like a more portable instrument that I can compose digital music on. :)
I just bought the aerophone-go several days ago, I could not find out place to practice the normal one because of the virus issue
SOUNDS LIKE A KEYBOARD SYNTH, I WANT ONE FOR RECORDING
Good morning! I like it, thank you for "showing" it.
The great thing about these is that producers who might already be playing sax or similar instruments but not the piano can improvise to find inspiration even with synthesizers or sample libraries.
I'm curious about the trumpet fingerings though. Do you have to use other keys to change which partial you play on?
Perhaps a gross question, but how does it deal with condensation and spit? I agree that $400 (CDN) is a bit steep for the use I might get from it.
If you go on Amazon and look at the reviews you will see that the addressed this by creating a "sock" that fits on the mouthpiece and catches the condensation.
I think youâre right, kids and away noodling. To my ear, doesnât sound that great; the headphone silent feature would be a plus. Violin sounds good, the rest very artificial! Thanks for the demo! đ
With serious vsts it would be great but then again if I had the money I'd just get an ewi
@@BrunoNeureiter yes it s really expensive for the frustration it brings.
The violin is such a trashy midi sound what are you on about? But yeah all sounds are artificial.
The key to playing an instrument like this: its a synthesizer. Don't expect or try to make it sound like an acoustic instrument, its gonna fall short. Make it sound like a synth - you'll get a lot of really great tonal options here that aren't cheesy
I was all set to buy one in January but I sensed the lockdown coming and I've been hanging onto my money until this blows over. I play guitar mostly but also tin whistle/mouth organ/mandolin and a few other assorted bits in a church. I think it will be ideal to add a bit of colour as and when required in a mixed setting. My only reservation is the built in sounds are pants and it will need to go through an app to be any good. However I don't have a high powered device and fear the lag . The additional cost of a fast tablet/phone would make it more expensive than EWI or AE10.
Cool review. I was thinking of getting one of these for travel to practice sax. But without side keys could mess up my playing (?).
2:10 -> the answer is Jack Black
Sweet portable sax that everyone should play while bored to death at home with this COVID19
It reminds me of my old Casio saxophone. Love that tool back in the 80's. =)
@Newtyp I was waiting to see if anyone remembered those. Very same concept except with 40 years of technological advancements. I received one as a gift in 1988 but they had an inherent problem on most of developing a high pitched shrill due to moisture getting into the electronics. Someone started buying up old ones and fixing that issue and problem. I bought two and they work beautifully and no electronics issues. Some even have the original user guide, song book, and fingering chart of which the latter was A Casio alternate fingerling. Transpose on the fly, portamemto key. All the instruments can be taken up and down several octaves so clarinet, alto and bass, oboe, English horn, bassoon. Pretty
Impressive for 1980âs. There were some folks performing professionally with them.
Hey Better Sax! I was wondering if you could do a video of something on a Bass Saxophone? Once I saw and heard it play I was always curious about its key, history, and more! Thanks love you videos!
Would it help the beginners to build the embouchure?
not really since the reed doesn't actually do anything. I use my normal embouchure on it, but if I hadn't already developed that I would not know what to do.
Better Sax so itâs a deal breaker for me. As a beginner, Iâm concerned about building my embouchure, without annoying loud sound from my sax that bothers people around. Thank you for being so resourceful.
Mantap bang alit
No.
@@alittt I have a Aerophone ae-10 .started with that.it will be very useful in fingerings but not the embochure.but after that i switched to soprano and learned how a real embochure has to be like than when I play Aerophone now I can use embochure correctly.i hope this helps
This seems like a great way of getting different sounds for a jam session and live performance. Where can one be purchased?

The Aerophone mini sounds good, seems like a go to for the price if you can't afford one of the larger ones like the Roland AE-10G, which I'm has much more settings.

Good idea, but unfortunately the sounds seem to be too cheesy.
IT is just a controller. Sure the on board synth is a toy, but tou could rig a midi out to a decent brass synth, or any analogue synth.
@@Sectionmanifold what would be a decent brass synth ? genuinely interested
Diego Rens kontakt has a lot of great Libraries for that just go on a quick search on Reddit

I owned Roland AE-10 for more than a year, it's very convenient to practice with. Different to other brand's EWI, Roland's AE series fingering is compatible or similar to Sax.
You inspired me to play saxophone and love the videos
I think the EWI 4000s is much better for playing in general, but this would be a step up for cheap and easy practice.
But it has those annoying touch sensitive 'keys'. Aerophone AE-10 did it for me.
@@ernoe303 I completely understand that, but I think getting used to those touch sensitive 'keys' is still worth it for the benefits of an ewi (such as controlling air input, 7 octaves, ect.)
@@camm9789 My brother has one, and I gave it a serious try. I'm a saxplayer, and I'm seriously bound to the fingerings of that instrument. That's why I like the Aerophone AE-10 so much. Same fingerings, bite control, breath control. Pretty analog feel actually. Quasi 7 octaves btw ;)
@@ernoe303 Well you probably know more than me. I've only played the sax for 2 years, played minimal amounts of the EWI 4000S, and have never tried the Aerophone AE-10. So I'll probably end up taking your word for it.
@@camm9789 Nothing wrong with personal preference ;) I've heard people play awesome stuff on the EWI.
This Drummer wants one! But I can't at $299..... too much! Thanks and Blessings!
This is awesome. I'm not very good with sax but this is portable and looks like fun. It would be great to learn on.
Love the synth sound.
I was hoping for a comparison with the EWI
Bruno Neureiter all in good time...
An EWI 4000s is 800 bucks tho. Guess we can't have everything
@@jakexie9108 EWI is much more of a real tool. 4000s is getting harder to find
@@SaxSpy Definitely. I was looking online for about 2 months until I found out Patchman was getting the final batch of brand new 4000s directly from Akai. That's when I bought mine. But the EWI is 100% not a toy, for sure a real instrument.
@@jakexie9108 I got my 4000s from him as well. The big difference is that EWI's havr the expression dialed in so it's not just a sax fingering piano roll like the Rolands. The EWI has full roller octaves (break here looks tough), 100 onboard patches and a lot more functionality. Check out Chase Baird with Circuit Kisser
It's a curiosity on top of a practicer's instrument.
Cool, good review. I looked at something like this (but didnt buy) a couple of years ago when i was travelling loads for work.
I have the Aerophone Go which I use for practicing in hotel rooms when travelling for work or holiday and sometimes at home at night as with headphones it is silent. The sound is not much like a sax with the built in sounds but you can use better quality sounds by linking to garageband etc. It does not help with embouchure as there is no reed so you need to use your mouthpiece with silencer to keep your chops in good shape!! The fingerings transpose to your real sax well, so practice on the aerophone is worthwhile.
Iâd never get one for myself but I wouldnât mind getting one for one of my kids but I have enough saxophones I can just teach them on an actual sax.
You talked yourself into and back out of buying one all in one sentence, brilliant!
HI JAY I AM GETTING A SAXOPHONE SOON!!! Like 2-3 days!! I am going to get a Jean Paul AS-400!!!!
Got mine last week . Good choice. Great sound and professional looking.
ME TOO!!!!!!
It's a great sax, i have one myself. However i do recommend getting some 1.5 strength vandoren reeds with it, it'll help you a lot. Also, I recommend upgrading the mouthpiece after about 3 or 4 months
William Spencely Thank you so much for the recommendations! I am no professional AT ALL (only played my band buddies saxes) so this is really good info đ
@@minecraft_dog5404 We all gotta start somewhere right?! Hope it all turns up to you in great playing condition! đ
Hi Jay, thanks for the review. I bought 2 Aerophone Minis, one for my 5 year old grandson and one for pop! He loves it and we have great lessons over FaceTime. They live in a 3rd floor apartment and he plays it all the time, with and without headphones. I regard it as a great investment ($500 each here in Oz!). He will, after all, inherit my saxophone collection one day.
great to hear this. glad it's working out. I expect my daughter will have a lot of fun with this and learn the basics.
It fills a niche. Basic go and blow but with the added ports and midi capability it can expand to fairly serious stuff. I play WX7 and consider it a double I can use on gigs, but not a substitute for a sax. This could be the same.

Yeah baby
DUDE, THAT IS SO AMAZING
Very nice review! Thank you!
I think it might be great for someone secluded in an interior room on a cruise-ship due to COVID-19 -- unless you hate your neighbor; then you pull out your saxophone and play intervals at full volume, ad. nauseum.
That's an expensive Flutophone! But with a quiet mode that parents will love! Susie, put on your headphones or we take that back to the store!
hehehe
Hey there! Awesome video. You think you can make a video over the Roland Aerophone AE-10???
Thanks super video. Itâs great but what bag do you use with it? When you are traveling? Does it fit a flute bag?

I ordered a Roland Aerophone AE-10 just before the quarantine got us. I have no idea now when I will get it. I'm happy to see you reviewing this type of instrument. I realize it isn't a "real" saxophone but I think it will work for me. I am 85 and I live in a senior mobile park where sound would not be allowed so since this has headphone capability I will be able to practice without bothering anyone. I played soprano sax in high school and I want to play again but I like the concept of so many different sounds. At this point in my life I am not contemplating a career in music. It's just for my enjoyment. Thank you for your review.
I think you will enjoy that when it arrives. good luck with it.
Best clear explanation that i've heard..
