    I purchased the G3 last year shortly after it was released. Over 3000 rounds through it and still loved the way it handled! Only parted with it about 2 months ago cause I couldnt pass up the offer I had for it. Now I have a Hellcat not to replace the G3 but because I didnt have a micro carry option I my rotation. Great review I hope more less experienced handgun owners are able to get this to learn on. Its very forgiving and is a great 1st handgun.

      @조성환 actually, it's because the Brazilian Army controls the new guns release, it only gets to the stores after they test and catalog them... Political bullshit.

    My 1st Taurus was the Raging Bull revolver in .454 Casull with a 6.5" barrel. Loved that gun, should've kept it! I bought the TX-22 after watching many reviews and I absolutely love it! I heard about the success of the G2 and everything else people hated. When I heard the G3 is coming and learned of the 2nd strike capability, I decided I must buy it and see for myself. I really like it and especially love that 2nd strike on a striker fired pistol (even though I haven't needed it yet)! I believe it should be an industry standard for all PDW's and especially on striker fired pistols. I think the G3 is a great gun and you can't go wrong getting one! For the money, it cannot be beaten!

    Picked up my new G3 and after the paper work, I headed for the range for a few shots. Man O Man, those mags are tight ! Graham, my poor ole boney thumb had a time just loading 5 in each mag, think I'll get one of the loaders and save my ole thumb. Gonna have to do sum em bout that front sight, cause my old eyes almost couldn't pick it up. Maybe I need new glasses. Shootin was sum em else, almost "O" recoil and trigger reset was unbelievable ! The grip is awesome and I just did get my old hand on it with nuttin to spare, glad I didn't get the compact model.

    Out of all the wonder nines the G series has the best most consistent case ejection of them all. You could put out a 5 gallon bucket and they land in there every shot. I just watched the PSA Dagger and the brass went everywhere including not ejecting at all.

    • @GBGuns
      @GBGuns  Před rokem

      Brass ejection pattern is more a result of ammunition than the mechanics, even more so with pistols that have a fixed ejector. Ejection direction and distance is a result of slide velocity.

    Graham- you commented on the table top review that the matching was only ok and good for a “ budget “ gun. I have had one for over a year and I thought, wow, I better look mine over for machining marks. I field stripped mine, no matching marks and no marks on my barrel. It’s in my edc rotation, and my favorite for cc if I had to pick. It eats all ammo without a hiccup.

    • @GBGuns
      @GBGuns  Před 3 lety +1

      I think this one may have had more than a testfire through it before I bought it "new" from PSA

    • @kevbiker3982
      @kevbiker3982 Před 3 lety

      Yup, I think PSA passed one off on you. I am guessing about 2000 rounds so far, it’s awesome. I got a G3c recently, and it is also awesome. I don’t care about price, I care about how well it performs. While Sig and Tisas are my fave, Taurus is a solid gun!

    • @GBGuns

      Zinc cases are slicker so they feed and extract easier, they are also corrosion-resistant so they last longer in a carry gun or in long-term storage.

      @elsullo2 Před 3 lety +1

      @@mulekicker-ut5jl Ya, Ya, big stuff! Instead of challenging my pansy-weakling safeness concerns, maybe consider why I made the post reply? If there is no manual safety it is because by design the striker or hammer is only PARTIALLY COCKED when racked, like Glock invented and now most guns copy. Guns WITH a manual safety have that because they are usually FULLY COCKED WHEN RACKED---and NEED a manual safety for true carry safety. Dirt and lint can disable the two internal passive safeties. Just don't let any small kids or happy puppies jump up in your lap when carrying with the safety off!......................elsullo

      @@GBGuns Was it the old Millennium G2 or the newer G2c? My G2c runs like a clock over 600 rounds of all kinds of ammo and still flawless. You must have got an oddball lemon if a G2c. The old Millenniums were discontinued because of a known problem with the sear block breaking so if a broken Millennium was sent back in Taurus replaced it with a new G2c rather than fixing the Millennium.
