Awesome! Thank you sir! You are a man of your word. Most definitely helps. I have a batch freezer and a soft serve machine. I don't plan to run them both at the same time, batch in the morning and soft serve during business hours. I didn't know any of that knowledge, so much appreciated Head Master. I think I'm ok putting a T in and if I want I could Add a shut off valve to increase water flow. Or who knows maybe I'll put it somewhere else on it's own line. Anyway sorry for being annoying, but I'm glad my persistence paid off. Keep scoopin'...

what would you guess is the water temperature exiting a water cooled soft serve machine... lets say a EF Sl500 or Taylor 794

Are there small ice cream makers with adjustable features (temp and dasher types and speed) to experiment with texture and crystals, etc? In terms of equipment, how do the pros work out new flavors and textures? I'm thinking this could be an interesting video.

Hmmm - not too many options on smaller machines - The ET CB350 is probably the best, bt not too many options

@@ScoopSchool Thanks bunches for your very practical videos! ET is new to me and seems to have their act together. Looks like I need to do more reading on industrial processes.

Hey Steve I watch you on CZcams every week and I love your channel. I make a strawberry swirl ice cream. I used strawberries and make them into a syrup and then add it to my ice cream but when the ice cream freezes the strawberry Syrup is a little icy. How can I get it to maintain a softer texture in the ice cream without adding alcohol to the syrup?

If you go air-cooled, you're cooling it with your air-conditioning instead of water supply. Isn't that more expensive?
