They do buy books, the popular ones, the high rated ones, the fantasy ones ;) I've been there for a few weeks and I find everybody extremely nice. I've reached my over 1 000 followers already, but I see absolutely nothing moving in regards of my book that is a suspense, mafia against bikers, romance - wild ride. So I wonder ... and wonder...Is this the right place to be? Or is it the right place to be for a certain genre only. Thanks for this video :))
hi! well i write poetry and have sold about 40k books through tiktok in the past couple years so not necessarily! it does take time though - most of my clients notice a difference in a few months, but some sooner. ive seen many genres be successful

What is the average age of TT users? What percent of users on TT are age 50 to 60? Thank you.
Hello! Usually a google of TikTok demographics will bring up lots of great info. Here's one that is reporting about 7+ % are in that age range in the US; I'm not sure if you are interested in other countries as well. The problem is the same small handful of books blow up on tikktok. Diverse books do not do well, e.g. with black characters
I agree with you and we were talking about the diversity issue during the live chat of this presentation. Books don’t have to blow up to sell really well and consistently, so there a lot of authors doing well that people haven’t heard of and aren’t household names - but they’re still selling a lot of books!
