Slow pitch jigging is a full water column fishing system. In this video we go shallow to deep all while fishing jigs. Season is just around the corner and we are getting warmed up for an epic one. Chris lands a nice Golden Tile fish on the new One Drop slow pitch jig and John and will drop a few nice Black Belly Rosefish in the ice box. Don’t change the channel too fast. At the end of this video while at the fillet table we stumble across a crew of guys that caught a 585 pound Bluefin Tuna while out swordfishing.

I got to do some slow pitch jigging for the first time last week in the gulf and caught 2 real nice Scamp Groupers!

This is one of my new favorite 🎣 channels. Learning a whole new method through this. Haven’t bought any gear or jigs yet . I’m a super geek about doing my homework. The drop.. that’s why I never point my rod the direction the fish is running. Dirty Jersey gator blues learned me of that one 😭.

Ever since i got into jigging and slow pitch its all i do. Ive much to perfect but the season is getting close to ending in ri for ocean kayak fishing. So tomorrow will be mid 50s, 9mph winds but 1.3ft seas its a party

What line test do you recommend for the seaborg g300j. I'm going to deep drop in New Jersey on a headboat. I know they catch both large and small tile fish.

Great content guys! Question! What is your recommendation for a tile fish setup for the northeast canyons? Typically we would fish in 450 - 650 feet for tiles up here? Please list your recommended setup with electric reel, etc. thanks!!

why hand cranking and not using the electric to reel up?
We do use the electric sometimes. It's fun to fight them manually, and I feel you are less likely to pull a hook. The second thing is that the electric reel sounds terrible on film 😬

The tuna bite has been good from what I understand. I would go to the Marathon Humps and drop some Blackfins on the deck.👊
