Plenty of lifeguards who still fear going under water in large bodies of water... the fear of drowning never goes away no matter how good a swimmer you are.
Yes you can! Last year, I didn't know how to swim but jump into the water without hesitate. What happened? drank sea water a lot but enjoy the snorkeling. I'll never forget this beautiful experience in my life. Don't think about worst scenario. Just be calm in the water then you will have amazing experience!
I don’t swim well and can’t float either but I tried snorkeling the first time at Black Rock Maui just last week 🥰 swam with a sea turtle, so worth it.
Yep doable. When i couldn't swim i would just activate my delusional powers 😂. Because at the end of the day you ahould def know how to swim or the very least float on your own just in case especially since its the open ocean and anything can happen
*Learn how to swim, sis.* You should definitely know how to swim in case anything goes wrong. All it takes is a couple lessons, and suddenly you can do so much more in your vacations.
I’m going to Jamaica in March and I want to book snorkelling soo bad but I can’t swim, can you explain to me how it felt to go into the water with the life jacket on?
I went for scuba few years back without knowing swimming. The first time I entered with all equipment and life vest and honestly the first few seconds were very frightening but thrilling at same time as I was on surface with instructors. But trust me it was so beautiful after few seconds as I could breathe and see beautiful sea life and it was worth every penny. Just keep breathing and one will actually do it properly as there's no other option 😅
I’m going to Maldives next month and really want to try Snorkelling and Scuba diving but alert alert I’m so afraid of deep waters and with the thought of being under water plus I don’t know swimming. Do you think I should do that? 😀

Learn to swim if You have such a desire to enter the Ocean🙌✨

That has nothing to do with learning to swim. Learning to swim would actually stop you from drowning go figure.
@@meak13 Fear is natural. But if you know how to swim, bodies of water are far less scary than when you can't swim.
Because you can swim....
🙄 what do you care?! Your just here to judge.
Thank you for the best advice, I never thought of this! You are so wise!
Of course it is doable !!!! Even if you don’t know swimming

Thanks. I'm going today and I don't swim.
I also can't swim or float but I want to swim with turtles when I go to Hawaii 😢.
as long as no water panic.. just chill and relax
I can't swim because I know only floating on my back. I need to learn underwater swimming and breathe control.
goodluck with your swimming lessons 🙂

“So don’t let any-“
I cant imagine not knowing how to swim. Im trying to teach my son now.

The misconception is that its hard to learn to swim.

Hi
I’m going to Maldives next month and really want to try Snorkelling and Scuba diving but alert alert I’m so afraid of deep waters and with the thought of being under water plus I don’t know swimming. Do you think I should do that? 😀
If the water is choppy, don’t go out. It’s going to make it harder to get comfortable. The ocean is beautiful but not to be played with.
Update: I went and it was amazing, the waters were calm and I felt secure with the life vest and the ring float
I can't swim properly better i can float
so i’m going to jamaica next week! and i’m going to be snorkeling. should i be afraid of any types of fish?
Jelly fish !!
Adults who can’t swim lmao pay $50 and learn at your ymca
