We saw her and Sonny in concert in 1977 when she was married to Gregg Allman. The show was great. Sonny tried to joke about Gregg but it was awkward. We saw in Cher in 2000 when she did her "Believer" tour and she was phenomenal. Like no time had passed at all.
I remember Sonny and Cher when they got started. They looked like two hippies,and then the show happened. What a transformation from hippies to full-out glam. The clothes, hair, jewelry, everything had changed. Loved them.....Notice Sonny's big platform shoes!

This was one of my favorite shows. Their skits were hilarious. Our three kids loved watching it too. Loved all their clothes. I felt so sad when they broke up and later when Sonny died.

I miss this show and them! I LOVED her wardrobe. I got my first pair of bell bottoms after seeing her wear them. Our babysitter and her boyfriend claimed “I Got You Babe” as their song. Her name was Carol. His name was Jerry. Jerry was killed in a car accident and Carol went into a mental hospital for quite a while. We moved away, and I never saw her again. I always wondered how she was. But that song I got you Babe is my all time most favorite song ever! Thank you Sonny and Cher for all the memories! I got to see Sonny and Cher at the Ohio State Fair when I was a Junior in High School. Cher was absolutely gorgeous! She still had her long, natural hair like in this clip. They would do a number, she would take off running back stage to change her wardrobe while Sonny would talk to the audience. They did that for the entire show. What was so beautiful was Cher running with her hair blowing back. It looked like silk. She really is a beautiful woman! Or she was. This was back in the 70s.

Every Saturday night before as a very young couple hubby and I would watch Sonny &Cher and part of Kenny Rogers before we went to the Charlotte Street Legion for the Saturday night dance. Such great memories this has stirred up-thanks so much !
She said recently in an interview that she loved him more as a brother or a father than a husband and that is why their marriage fell apart, he treated her like a child and was very controlling. You can see their relationship was much more genuine after the divorce even though people didn't like the fact of them not being a couple which I don't understand because why couldn't they be friends and still work together?? They had much more fun that way too

I LOVED this show when I was a kid and laughed so hard when I saw this. I miss them and the silliness and talent on this show. Great people and great entertainers!

I always loved her busting on Sonny, and he let her. It was part of their act and it totally worked. When he would get one in on her though, it was priceless. Still would work today 💔 wish we had it….,

This was great. If they were smart back then they should've added the bloopers at the end while the credits rolled. It was great seeing them having such a great time together. Sonny was something else.

They did go their own way he became governor of California he died in a ski accident. Just like John Denver did.him and Cher weren't together then he married someone else. And ended up being the governor.

I miss this show and them! I LOVED her wardrobe. I got my first pair of bell bottoms after seeing her wear them. Our babysitter and her boyfriend claimed “I Got You Babe” as their song. Her name was Carol. His name was Jerry. Jerry was killed in a car accident and Carol went into a mental hospital for quite a while. We moved away, and I never saw her again. I always wondered how she was. But that song I got you Babe is my all time most favorite song ever! Thank you Sonny and Cher for all the memories! I know that there’s a special place in heaven for Sonny!♥️♥️♥️

Sonny and Cher show were classics back then, and today Cher still looks fantastic.
Watched this over and over so glad they showed this side of them they were divorced but were able to still have a bit of fun in these difficult emotional times - take my hat of to them - Cher is a remarkable woman in any generation now 2022 recently released another perfume🤗😎🇦🇺

I got to see Sonny and Cher at the Ohio State Fair when I was a Junior in High School. Cher was absolutely gorgeous! She still had her long, natural hair like in this clip. They would do a number, she would take off running back stage to change her wardrobe while Sonny would talk to the audience. They did that for the entire show. What was so beautiful was Cher running with her hair blowing back. It looked like silk. She really is a beautiful woman! Or she was. This was back in the 70s.
@@nancydemoss2945 She is still beautiful for her age. Yes she did go have some surgeries. But she was aging beautifully anyway before that. But beauty is not what it's all. It was her personality that 1 everyone over.

Yea I suppose you're right, she did always have a strong love for Sonny
She said recently in an interview that she loved him more as a brother or a father than a husband and that is why their marriage fell apart, he treated her like a child and was very controlling. You can see their relationship was much more genuine after the divorce even though people didn't like the fact of them not being a couple which I don't understand because why couldn't they be friends and still work together?? They had much more fun that way too
@@mwamwa3488 I think it had to do with just the fact that when they were married and doing the show together, people could actually see their love for each other and being married but once they divorced the dynamics changed and people really didn't want to watch them knowing they were divorced.
