The biggest threat to the Celtics in the entire playoffs, is the Celtics themselves.
Actually, more like like their coach. Mazula has been successful due to the players but he has shown he cannot make adjustments on the fly (in game) to an opponents scheme. He is slightly better this year but if they face teams with a great coach, he can get outcoached and lose the game in the process.

You are spot on. They have all the talent. Just impose your will with effort and I see no team capable of winning a 7 game series. Attention of the game and some attitude. Our year with the right mindset.

The 2 biggest threats have always been miami and denver. Nothing has changed.. 3 biggest "adjustments" (mazzula said we didnt make a single adjustment) we made in game 3:
1. We stopped daring the heat to shoot. We closed out on most open perimeter shots..plain and simple.
2. KP stopped biting on Bam's pump fakes. You can make a drinking game every time Bam dribbles in from the mid-range toward the basket. Hes going to pump fake.
3. d.white (and other celtics to a lesser extent) crashed the glass. Alot. Lots of free points there. Miami is one of the few teams we actually have a size advantage on. About time we finally used it.
Your first point was my biggest complaint in game 2 . Jaylen Brown and Kristaps were not closing on shooters, and they made them pay.
@@geomagg8158 yup. hopefully lesson learned and we execute the same game plan in game 4. the heat arent beating us if they arent shooting well from 3. we will win any contest thats a 2-point shooting affair. turn off that faucet for them, lock in on defense and make our FTS... we should win.
@@TheRobversion1 but we know Maimi heat with coach Spoelstra will make an adjustment. Hope Coach Mazulla can make the necessary counter adjustments in game if Maimi's adjustment do work.
@@cedricduyongco yup. this is probably 1 of the last 2or 3 things Joe has to be able to do to be regarded as one of the best coaches in the league. his stubbornness not to adjust is on one of his critical flaws. The celtics need to be able to modify on the fly to beat the teams that counter them. its not just miami. another one is michael malone in denver.
i will say though that once we get past miami, the other teams in the east arent coached well enough that we are at a disadvantage tactically like we are with miami.
@@TheRobversion1Coach Mazulla has been slightly better in his timeouts this year. But in game adjustments are just bad. You get beaten in the first half and come out in the second doing the same thing expecting different results. You just can't see this often as they often win with raw talent.

The Celtics are the only ones who can beat themselves. It showed last year in the series vs Miami, the Game 7 injury on Tatum wouldn't have had to happen if they just took their first 3 games seriously instead of playing down to the competition. Step foot on the gas, finish this series in 5 and have a rest. No one can stop them in the East, especially now that Embiid and Giannis seems to be out of the first round

I have a suggestion the CELTICS need to play entire 48 minute game now that is your adjustment right there play 48 minutes from start to finish and nobody will be able to beat us period when we played denver early in the season when we lost our first home game of the season we lead denver by double digits during most of the second half mostly in the 3 quarter so there you have it and last season they had a lot of blown leads that lead up to losses just like the game against the nets last season at home of all places where they blew a more than 20 point lead so just continue to play good defense share the ball and above all else play 48 minutes and that is our recipe for success and a NBA CHAMPIONSHIP PERIOD
