      You could say the same for okc in terms of not playing to their potential Plus they added an all nba defender who is a champion. And a player to fill in for Chet and fix their only weakness. And the young guys now have some valuable experience and are still very much improving. And unless they playing the Bucks, Mavs, or Nuggets, most would agree they have the best player on the floor

      Because he's been rating them on talent rather than roster construction (all of Embiid's costars except Maxey have been mediocre fits at best). No amount of individual talent has ever overcome front office incompetence. The difference this year is that the top of the roster fit is now immaculate.

Played in a bad Eastern Conference. For that reason, I think it's a little hard to gage Boston's greatness in terms of are they on the verge of something historic OR did they just capitalize on an easy path for 1 year

I love their moves and certainly have them as my number 2, but Boston with everyone back is the champ favorite for me until I see basketball played.     OKC should be the favorites. They had the top seed in the west last year and they replaced giddey w someone who is an all NBA defender and a much better shooter, they also got a second big to get rebounds and defend. Not to mention, the young guys, chet, jdub, and Wallace are going to improve as well. This team is scary good.

    If every team is healthy and plays their best, Boston should win the title again. Keep in mind that Tatum and Brown haven't reached their peaks yet. Tatum has no mid-range game and Brown has room to be a much improved ballhandler and free throw shooter.

    Russ was not the problem. A lack of shooting was the problem. Presti has learned a lot since that last team, he’s recalibrated and now he only want high IQ players that came defend, shot create, can get their own bucket, pass, and hit 3’s. That’s all he wants. He wants to play 5 out with the most cerebral players he can obtain in OKC. This way they are all a threat at all times.
