You're right about Midori's solo towards the end that's a bit soft, but I believe that has to do with YT's digital compression algos, because on my DVD, it was much clearer and crispier. I believe the mastering of this specific LIVE LP is optimized for physical media (blu-ray/DVD/CD).

This was a song *Miyako* wrote for her old band a few years before Lovebites started. a Drop of Joker was a Metalcore band, so she had to modify it to fit with *Asami's* vocals. Miyako has a degree in music composition, and for Lovebites she does: Classical piano/electric and acoustic guitar/synth/keytar/backing vocals/Composition/and is their sound/recording engineer. She is a straight up Musical Genius. She's also a Huge Star Wars fan, has a dog named Wampa, a python, an owl, and a 2yo toddler.
Miyako is one of the real elite guitarist who can make her instrument emote on stage. She self-taught at 18 and Gary Moore was clearly one of big influences. Midori is the shred Queen but Miyako has influenced her playing just as Miyako's has gotten faster and better thanks to Midori. Polar opposites who blend together perfectly. I often compare their harmonizing as a Vulcan mind meld in action. Lest we forget Asami's vocals were exceptional here and her R&B, Soul and Jazz background really shines. Then we have little Haruna who needs to do stick twirls to keep herself fully engaged as playing like a demon isn't enough. Check out Frozen Serenade LIVE or Swan Song with Chopin piano intro to see all the insane talent in this band, although Empty Daydream is still one of my favorites as it has some many of their talents on display.
