This anime reminds me of kono suba, in how they handle the humor. I have high hope for this anime
What sells KonoSuba is all of the characters, though. The main character in this feels like a true silent protagonist. As in, he doesn't really say much of anything. KonoSuba wouldn't be nearly as good if Kazuma didn't talk.

Averath I like the idea of the main character being an idiot and not knowing things cause he doesn’t have his memory, it’s different. I know this could never beat kono suba but it can atleast be a good isekai comedy

@@snicksss I love how he's a literal blank slate. Most generic Isekai protagonists are meant to be generic and bland so the audience can imagine themselves in them. Instead, this guy is literally a "newborn" of sorts who has to relearn everything!

The plot seems a bit formulaic but there is something about the art style that grabbed me during their fight with the giant shrooms near the end.

@Haru- H it could have the same art style, it almost reminds me of how hyper dimension neptunia was drawn, or maybe granblue fantasy.
I'm pretty sure it's an amine adaptation of a game and they're just following the plot of it

I thought this was just another normal isekai anime but I did not expect the ending to be like that XD I’ll give it a chance
also Yuuki doesn’t talk very often, which is oddly refreshing as usually male protagonists talk the most and say cringy things.

Really? Just looks generic and bland to me. Japan makes all these very similar Isekai animes, with a couple stand-out ones here and there I'll admit, then they see that the NEXT BIG THING is adding the fact that characters *can* die. (a la re:zero) WOW. Now let's all do that. Not much creativity over there tbh.

The main character feels like he should belong in a game, you don't get to see too many silent (okay mostly silent) protags in anime or animation in general.

I was a bit reluctant about this anime since the title gave me the title and the fact the rest of the party seems to be made up of females gave me the impression that this would be a herem fantasy type anime(and herems do push me away). But these clips are actually making me consider watching it!
