Solo Hammock Camp - Massasauga Provincial Park - 4K Video
I decided to spend a couple days out in the bush so I could relax and try out my new 4 season Hennessey hammock. During the trip I tried my luck fishing and do a bit of camp cooking.
    Hope you enjoy the video.

There is a little lever on your fishing reel. You can switch it of so that it doesn’t make that clicking noise. The food looked awesome ! Peace ✌️

Thanks. Yeah, I like the hammock, still need more experience with it but I think its a keeper.

Nice little trip, Jason. Thanks. Those JetBoils are a nice kit, and the noise from them scares the bears away. 😉👍

Jason you will prob find on cooler nights your back and butt will get cold you can use a pad but they are kind of uncomfortable. If you like the sleep you get look into James at little shop of hammocks Canadian company he makes awsome hammocks and under quilts to keep your butt and back toasty warm. Also check out hammock camping Canada FB group if you have any questions. I made the switch last year and I will never go back to sleeping on the ground. Also check out Hoffman outdoor gear supply is another Canadian company that is great for tarps. Also the longer your hammock is the flatter you will get. Hope this helps

Hey Mark, Thanks for all of that. I'll check out those resources.
This hammock of mine is the new Hennesey 4-season and has a built in insulating pad. I'm sure I'll need an underquilt eventually but not sure how cold the built in pad is good for.

Curious to know what your tattoo says ? Are you a Toronto boy, in another note there are little solar panels devices to charge your goodies made exactly for camping in outback quite inexpensive and small so not a problem packing

Love your style, I frequently enjoy short trips to Massasauga, excellent park for its proximity. Nothing like a steak right on the coals, the crispy fat and a nice medium rare mmmmmm. I’ve been using a Hennessy hammock for years, it’s all I use unless I’m sharing sleeping space. You get a 9.9/10 my friend. -0.1 because of the ticking on your fishing reel, that would drive me mad lol. Great job Jason, look forward to more goodness from you.

Thanks. I agree 100%.... nothing better than a steak over a fire and that reel needs to be replaced. :)
