Y'all are just Linda’s haters who love nothing but slagging her off at any opportunity, yes she made a mistake by having an affair with another man and getting pregnant by him but so have many characters on the show such as Stacey, Kat, Sharon... etc who have done worse than Linda and they don't get half as much hate as Linda gets 🙄
Basically the fling with Whitney and Mick admitting to Linda that he harbored feelings for his daughter-in-law (which is as sick as having an affair with another man) sowed the seeds of the breakdown of their marriage today.

I don't hate linda in fact I love her especially her and micks relationship. No one's slagging her off, we're talking about how the shitty writer's have ruined her and mick. And no it was not the whitney thing that broke them down because they were fine after that, what ruined the carters overall was Linda's alcoholism, the whole stupid thing with max and mick's abuse storyline.

@Samantha B: Probably died, big dogs live for about 8 years [ the Great Dane only living about 4 years max ] whereas the smaller breeds may live 12-16 years if lucky, one problem with these short faced or "Peke faced " dogs like the British Bulldog and the Pug amongst others, is they have problems breathing [ you can see that she is panting all the time despite it being in the middle of Autumn when they filmed this ] and they are taking steps to breed it out completely. I remember when she had puppies, those would have cost £2000 a pup the female ones more. Lady Di herself would have cost today £1,250, this is where its not really that realistic as how does a Publican afford a grands worth of a dog and she is a bitch as well and they cost way more and there is her food and vet fees too. Then again anything is possible in a soap, I would like to see another dog in the Queen Vic though.

@@samanthab1923 Roly was an apricot Standard Poodle, yes Ethel had a pug and it was actually a Belgian Shepard breed that was Wellard, actually played by 3 female Belgian Shepards, of the same generation, the first one was the mother, Kite was her daughter whom also appeared in a Touch of Frost as a police dog, and Kite's daughter towards the end of Wellard's appearance when the dog was euthanised due to Bianca accidentally feeding him human chocolate.

How did Shirley become micks sister then mother
Because she had him when she was really young, so she acted like his sister rather than his mother. It's ok he finds out she is his mum later on.

@Callum Plays: She always was his mother, she was only 14 when she had Mick and after she gave birth to him she was told by her own mother, Silvie to forget that she was his mother and they raised as her brother. A bit similar to Kat and Zoey only unlike Kat whom was groomed and raped by her Uncle, Shirley was madly in love with the father of Mick and Dean, Buster [ Karl Howman ].

Kate Oates has no interest in solid family bonds, relationships and friendships. Her angle is always unpleasantness and ugliness. The Carters were never going to be her sort of characters.
For real I will never forgive her for ruining the carters like it physically hurts because they were so fresh and funny when they came in and now completely ruined beyond repair and for what, they're so depressing to the point they're dragging the show down. There's nothing genuine about this current era of eastenders
I loved the carters they were such a great family being together for so long made them great I will miss them 4ever.
The whole premise of Eastenders was Working Class Families their bonds and whatever life throws at them, good, bad and ugly they stick together threw thick and thin, it was a Royalist soap, Matriarchal and it was never political. It's totally gone away from its roots for a long time. Even though it always had a touch of misery about it, it was better written in the 1980's.
The BBC has nothing genuine for the indigenous white british populace. Its about time more of us scrap the TV License. The BBC like many mainstream british institutions have made perfectly clear to us that they rcaially and civilisationally hate us.
