Thanks for the video, and useful links... I'll be doing mine some time over winter, looks pretty straight forward. 👍

Hi UNB. Hav’nt done the job on my tiger sport yet but did it a couple of times on my old tiger 1050. I found placing the new chain on the rear sprocket and working on the connection there made it less fiddly. Thanks for mentioning the torque’s etc. Very helpful.
Not on Facebook myself but will get a friend to download that manual you mentioned in the comments. Thanks again chum.

I’ve done a chain like that before but prefer it loose as you can keep checking how free the link moves as you do the riveting.

Just the video I needed although I've done this on previous bikes, just not on my new ( second hand ) Tiger. I have the parts ready to do mine over the next few weeks.

How many kilometers did you get of your chain before replacing it?
What is the torque requiered for the front sprocket?
I'm planning to replace the chain and sprockets on my bike, but I have check on it and it is still pretty good at 59500 km...I'm surprised for the long lasting of that, I'm pretty careful with the chain, I wash it frecuently and installed a chain oiler that workd really good, so the chain is well lubricated all the year.
    Great video, greetings from México.

Hi the torque setting is 132 NM for the front sprocket. I got around 30000 km but I clean the chain and lubricate it every 600km

Thanks mate, mine is a 2017 sport 1050. I hate that I cant buy a workshop manual for it. This online malarkey is way over my head.
