The sound of Eleanor's engine just gives me chills. Anyone else like that, too?
Yes me
American muscle can only be imitated
Haha. Wait till you hear the Valkyrie
Yes Bro.
My balls agree
If they had made more sequels for this movie, by now they would be flying in space, traveling different countries, having a spin off, saving the world. Good thing this movie knew when to stop.
Ummm.... you mean like Fast and Furious?? Hahaha
Lame comment
Probably stealing nuclear warheads and planets
Amen.

I don't care what the reviews say, Gone in 60 Seconds was an excellent movie! Maybe it's just my taste but I liked it better than the Fast and The Furious. Nicholas Cage was awesome in this flick. I still have the old DVD and it's hard to believe I purchased it almost 20 years ago.
This movie Brought back Car movies, but this is my favourite
@Joe Smith nothing wrong with that
The movie Deathproof could’ve used a Mustang.
I dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account??
I somehow lost the login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Nasir Nehemiah Instablaster :)
That moment when Nicolas Cage backing up the car, seeing that kid / boy smiling at him. Nicolas smiles back. Priceless. 😆
The sign of a true driver lol, even during all that, he's still just having fun behind the wheel
Literally
Man I feel like that was my favorite scene
Mejor que cual quier escena de rapido y furioso esa secuela ya es basura 60 segundo la mejor
@masonmorelan710 it never occurred to me that he was living out one of his dreams and thats why he smiled 😁.
The kid was a reflection of his inner kid.
I always loved the look he gives that kid as he's driving backwards haha
all he does is he smiles, not really ALL THAT HARD TO DO 🤔/🤨..!?!?
Ryan Beers after a blonde backing up mode...
Ryan Beers You’re missing the point.
Femaly freandly
Love it
I was 15 years old when I saw the movie in the cinema. Still one of my favorite movies .
17 year old me!
Shit, I think I was near enough or close about when I saw The Rock. Good times.
I was only 6 when I saw it in theaters.
Badass movie 🍿 🔥🔥💯💯
I remember seeing it in the theater, and everyone in the theater cheering when Elenor made the jump.
engine noise is awesome
Jean-Luc Jean-Luc it's fucking amazing in surround sound
That engine noise is better than the wife's noise! Eh?
In true Ryan Rynes fashion, “how about wife noise while engine noise.?!”
@@heman7953 ill take the sound of a roaring engine over a screaming woman any day of the week
@@jakedizzle I hope they add this car on forza horizon 5 be sweet
Increased speed 120, 140, 160... He's gone
DO NOT LOSE HIM
Sir, this is a a-star, not an apache
damn this guy can drive
@@ShevaGPL it's probably mostly the car 😊
Still like more the original one, less bs, all real lol
Not for nothing, but that make and model has a top speed of 180. And that's WITHOUT nitrous.
Your average police helicopter has a top speed of 150. He is, in fact, absolutely gone.
@@dars5229 I'd like to see your proof of that. You're lucky to get factory vehicles back then to go 120 MPH let alone 180. This one was obviously modified since at the very least it has nitrous and modified body parts. They had 4 speeds not 6 speeds like today's mustangs, I believe you're confusing a 1967 GT500 with the newest GT500 which indeed does have a top speed of 180
There's a few things that make this film awesome:
1. The cast.
2. The action.
3. This fucking car.
Eleanor is a beautiful baby, and nothing will take away her spirit.
also the girl. a defining moment in life. bad girls do it well
The other cars?
I love his face of discomfort when driving the car like ‘I’m so sorry but I have to’
Lmao the way the little kid gave Nicolas a smile while Nicolas is driving backwards and he smiles at him lmao That was so funny 😂😂😂
I love how he is running and still has time to crack a smile at the kid
Man I remember watching this movie all the time as a kid back in 2008-2009, im still in love with that 1967 Ford Shelby GT500. what a beautiful car!
No bull
🏆🏆🏆Crazy seeing him young and Angelina Jolie 🔥🔥🔥
I was overseas for 20 years including 2000 when this was released and just watched this tonight for the first. I loved it. I knew about the reviews, which made it even better as my expectations we’re too high going into it.
This clip starts about 60 seconds too late. You're missing the start, where she's just idling. The prettiest damn sound ever, that car idling.
I guess the beginning is Gone In 60 Seconds
They don't make that sound this days....
@@leoofwar4622 yeah they do flowmaster 40s on a pushrod 302 give u that exact sound
@@TheCheapReefer thanks

10% lucky 90% skill
100% the power of will
100% concentrated power of will*
Shit, we're all wrong lol. It's 10% Luck, 20% Skill, 15% Concentrated power of will. That's the winning formula.
Oh, and I'm guessing 55% Eleanor
"Is not the car that makes the driver it's the driver that makes the car"
Spread your wings, Eleanor. spread your wings.
Godddd.. when he hits that clutch. Beautiful...
This always gets me pumped
each time I see Eleanor getting picked up by the crane I shed a tear even though it was just only the body\frame , still hurts the soul lol
I know it was a waste of a nice car but it least at the end she (or it whatever) came back despite the rusted paint and engine sound beat up
@@michaelharris7820 yeah your right never thought of it like that :)
badass manual transmission are awesome!!
I know I changed it to The Muncie
"HE'S GONE!"
One of my favorites....love this movie!
God is blessing that car with the beautiful clutch
I just did
A work of art. Shelby out did himself.
Daniel Padilla is Own a car like this mustang
best pursuit of cars movie, Eleanor ♥️
I love this movie. Just saw it again tonight!
Reason I name my car Eleanor😂👌🏾
I have an Eleanor I named 'Hayley' as she started life as a red stock '67. I had a crush on Hayley Williams from Paramore when I bought her :p
Don't!!! You're gonna get sued, and they will take your car...

One of best movies scenes
These scenes are edited really good.
I love that he presses the clutch and break at the same time.
jakedizzle Whats that special bout that don't you hit the clutch if you want to shift down
jakedizzle. That way the car wont stalll.
Medit Songs if you aren’t putting the far into neutral I think or into first you gotta hit the clutch so u don’t stall
RealOne1 You'll need the clutch to go into any gear except on certain transmissions that allow for clutchless shifting. But the idea behind clutch & brake is to isolate the engine from the transmission so it won't stall when he slows down. In a high gear the vehicle needs to maintain speed to keep the engine RPMs high, if the driver slows down too much in a high gear, the RPMs fall too low and the engine will stop running.
Slamming to a halt? Yeah, it’s so the engine doesn’t stall, he was still in gear.
Nick Cage was a true badass in this scene.
That clip is jacked. The best scene is on the bridge when he backs up to get a running start. The camera is looking eye level at the car. Then Cage revs the the motor and the front end raises.
I have seen a lot of different designs of mustangs but This one will always be my favorite
Any real car guy can hear a mustang coming a mile away
Facts. They have an iconic deep warble to them that Ford somehow managed to do with multiple different engines. The Coyote specifically is super easy to pick out by sound.
No we dont we just here them crashing lmao
@@shotbyjunior they're xtremely roudy, Ford has always been good with immediate low end torque. Can't handle it, buy a camaro
Randy Prescott Yeah i would rather buy a camaro
Facts, hell I drive a charger and I know a mustang when I here one.
I love how we literally see the car get destroyed after it jumps all of those cars on the bridge, but with the magic of editing and Nicholas Cage expelling air, the car survives with nary a scratch. Movies sure are magic.
keep up the good work and have a great day
Go baby go
I will never get tired of this video clip
I'm not a Ford guy but when I heard that engine I fell in love with that car
Head for the railroad tracks until the stars go away.
Great edit. Removing the fluff and getting to the meat of the scene.
i really felt how scared shitless that guy who says "hang onto it" was
This mustang and the 68 fastback from The Bullitt. ☺️👌
It this The Best Film ever Made just Before 2001's The Fast and The Furious Release.I think Gone in 60 Seconds Better Than Fast and Furious.
The Fast and Furious franchise as a whole has been nothing but bad acting and absolutely garbage plots in my opinion. I really don't understand people's love of those movies.
Hafiz Firliansyah It’s about the action and the cars. You need to practice your suspension of belief 😀
@@michaelmallory2926 that was possibly the most inane response ever written.
Paul Lander that response was actually meant for you, not the original commenter, I’m just saying when you go to the cinema to watch a movie like F&F you have to leave logic at home and just enjoy the escapism.
The huge problem with that is that making a film that not only makes no sense whatsoever, but has no believable aspect to it isn't usually enjoyable to car guys/gals - which are pretty clearly the target demographic here. There isn't one of those movies that isn't far fetched to the point that it's cartoonish. The only thing those films have done is created a large number of film fans that think they know cars because they saw them on Fast and Furious movies. If you're the normal person that spends even 1/8 of a second of thought on any of it - even casually - it will likely annoy you.
I love the metal pedals. I love that fast shifting with the gears. I only wished this video did not have that big watermark at the bottom.
This is me trying to get back home from the supermarket when I get a missed call from my boss, when I am meant to be 'working from home'
Now that’s a true monster right there. 🔥
This is Legend
The best movie ! The best car and the best plot. I love this Machine ❤❤❤
There she is.. there's Eleanor 💚👊
I Love That 1967 Mustang! MY FAVORITE CAR!
This is way too good than Fast and the Furious, the stunts there is impossible
Leø Jäns Cédric 1121 it's like watching Peter Pan😂😂😂😂
That man said "are you alright, are you okay" other guy: yah "okay good, cause you just went thru a wall" 😭😭😭😭 3:38 (it's not in this vid but it's in the movie)
Old is Gold
Thank you
I pretty sure they are called Ships Chip
I’m just here to hear the 427 roar 😂
Nice work
that garage that nic ducks in to is rhe same one he slid the ferrari in to in the movie "the rock" as he was going after sean conneries character john patrick mason and yes I am a big time nic cage/john travolta, sean connery fan 😅..!!
Beautiful
Bad ass machine. A beautiful piece of machinery.
Nothing gets the adrenaline rushing like shifting to turbo. Soon as that Nitro hits just adds the cherry on top
2:11 super steve mc queen 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
all the fast and furious thing ain't got shit on this 4:26 minutes of pure awesomeness.
Man i used to watch this scene on repeat as a kid💯 this movie is the reason i loved cars more and my love also grew for need for speed game’s basically race games in general because of this movie lol
Nice 😇❤
Timeless.
To this day, I *STILL* has / have a ❤ attack watching Gone in 60 Seconds. 😱
Beautiful looking car and sounds awesome too
You cant even think of stealing a damascus steel😂
ive loved classic muscle cars since i was a kid watching reruns of the dukes of hazard. this movie, smokey and the bandit, fast and furius and bullitt solidifed my love for these classic american cars. they just have a presence no modern car can replicate, they arent trying to be cool they just are by nature.
the only cars that come close are the modern challengers but even those arent quite the same. if i won the lottery id buy a modern challenger or mustang and a 1968 mustang fastback and probably an old firebird too. the 1968 charger is an icon and one of my favorite muscle cars, but i wouldnt buy a charger because of how rare they are nowadays because so many have been wrecked. bullitt destroyed some and the dukes of hazard and fast and furious went through them like they were toyota corrollas. that has made them the most iconic muscle car but probably the most valuable.
very good editing.
I fucking love this car
Amazing movie/soundtrack!
Some of the stunts(driving)he actually did himself
13 years old i was in the premier of this wonderful movie 🔥
Ahhhh the car got that got me in love with cars in general 😍😍😍 the skyline was the 2nd personal love for me
Cool 1967 Shelby Mustang Gt500 Eleanor 👍👍👍
The yellow tint giving me the nfs mw vibe
Are you ok sir? Are you sure? Because you just went through a wall.
That is my Dream Car ELEONOR BABY
My FKN CHILDHOOD…thNk you a ton bruh
The ending is awesome
Awesome
Almost perfect edit I’d have put the bit leading up to the jump where he stops and gets out then reverses but to each his own nice work!
Great scene!!!!!
the director said in a behind the scenes section of the dvd that the gas tank was the hardest thing to incorperate in to the movie b/c it was so time consuming to get the tank to fly just right for the film
That’s CG
I downloaded this mustang to my Xbox 360 live and now I can drive it on my need for speed most wanted 2012 game
Where did you download?
Ni en reserva podrian
Es una comunicación perfecta entre el hombre genio y una máquina creada por una genialidad

Mmm... nah
Second best
Just the best nice
Indeed ....very interesting & incredible movie. 2022 looking great.
Best chase scene of all my life, this car is my fucking wet dream.
I like this version of Eleanor even though it's not really a 1967 Shelby GT-500.
Luv 60 seconds 🖤🥀
I love how he calls his car his unicorn It is such a beautiful and perfect name for that car
yeah kinda reminds me of the mona lisa too if u catch my drift.

At this moment... It became a different movie...
A scary one with lots of people dying..
Nicolas Cage and Ford Mustang...Fuck yeah!
I will always like this mustang better
One of the most beautiful powerful car in the universe
