    Wow! I’ve been doing Yang style since the 1980s and now want to learn Chen as it is so beautiful. Providing the mirror version is VERY helpful! Thank you so much for providing it, respect and gratitude for your teaching!

    Wow! that was very helpful, I'm a beginner who has just started to explore this Artform, right now I'm strengthening my body to do the necessary movements of taiji.
    I hope you will make more of these types of videos.
    Please do make more tutorials of Chen style, there are almost none available on the internet.

      @@wilhermes Kdyžtak je tam prvních 5 forem zacvičeno zrcadlově, tak podle toho se dá cvičit a v té první pětici je jen jeden krok, to se také dá často i prostorově někam nacpat... Navíjení a stání je ale také naprosto super a určitě stojí z procvičení!! :) i já se k tomu v těchto dnech postupně vracím,.. :)

    Boží!!! Já teď nejakou dobu nechodím do Akademie... tak nemám úplně přehled. Ale všiml jsem si... že ze 74 forem už je jen 72.... a tuhle verzi 13ky neznám... to je ta starší verze? Mám pocit... že takhle to bylo v knize... kterou vydal Radek s paní Zhai Hua.... Každopádně.... díky za super video! Další takové prosím!!!! ;-)

    • @martinataiji
      @martinataiji  Před 4 lety

      Haha... Já sice chodím, ale to není samospásné... Upustilo se od výuky 13 forem a cvičí se prvních 5 a následně prvních 15 forem ze sestavy 74 forem (ano, teď jí opravdu říkají 72, ale pro mě je to moje milovaná 74ka) ... Myslím si, že to má hodně pozitiv tento nový přístup, ale pokud člověk nemá zahradu a chce si zacvičit jen v bytě, tak ta původní "třináctka" je prostorově mnohem lepší... :)
      Zkusím zase něco vymyslet... :)

    hello , is it better to work all the form at once or do each sequence separated many time and gradually add sequences?

    • @martinataiji
      @martinataiji  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello :) It depends on many aspects and - of course - your main aim. What works for me is to practise the form at once in order to improve the flow between the moves and focus more on breath. BUT in order to keep the sequences correct (as much as they are suppose to be), I need to train them separated and focus more on the details.
      At the end it is up to how you feel at the moment, but in general, both approaches needs to be combined in order to make progress... :)

      @@martinataiji Great. I'm Instructor by Mantak Chia and watching his TaiChi video I see he watches his movements carefully. Notwithstanding I remember he told me his master instructed him not to pay attention to his arm or legs movements or he may cut them!
      Hence, I'm still looking for a master who performs the Tai Chi routine but WITH EYES CLOSED. That would be quite a challenge, what do you think ?
