Also, for the people that don't like to play the puppet, if you have albaz and a fusion (or any ED monster really) in your grave you can just summon the ED monster to your opponent's field and albaz to your field, pop Albaz effect and make Mirrorjade. Granted you only want to do this if you have a fodder card to discard
hope puppet gets banned, seeing branded slandered with floodgates irritates me.
@@underblader9675 To ban puppet won't change anything because there are other monsters with the same or a simillar effect as well, Ra's disciple for example or Ido
@@WhitbyWyrm90 Having gimmick puppet banned would genuinely matter. The good part about gimmick puppet is that happens to check all of the boxes for the Granguignol effect to send it to the GY (that being a level 6 light or dark monster). Ido is the only one off the top of my head that can fit these requirements as Ra’s disciple is like level 2. Also, Ido has an effect when sent to the graveyard that summons itself and destroys your field.

I would say even if u dont want to puppet, make sanctifire. So, when your opponent makes an ed monster, you can just summon albaz and fuse with them to make mirrorjade afterwards.
That’s an interesting way to play it, it’ll work most of the time but sometimes you need that insta banish so it can hurt you sometimes as well

You can also summon pupped and fallen of albaz and Fusion this 2 . The summon Block is also activ and you have the pupped in your grave for the next turn :D

I know some of you don’t want to play the gimmick puppet monster, so at the point where I summon sanctifire, whoever doesn’t want to you gimmick puppet will have to summon Mirrorjade there instead
you can also follow up from mirror Jade to sanctifire by not fusing cartessia with lubellion first

Glad I could help! A good tip would be to make sure to use various graveyard effects, which range from searching cards to summoning Albaz to fuse with your opponent’s monsters during their end phase

Thank you habibi for another video, I have the question tho what's the ideal ratio for handtrap - main deck for this list, for example in my vanquish soul deck i run 13 handtraps and 27 main cards
I see the majority are using 3, or 5, or 6 (assuming it’s a 40 card deck)
If 3, it’s just Maxx c
If 5, it’s 3 Maxx C and 2 Nibiru
If 6, it’s 3 Maxx C 3 Ash
Many people don’t use ash with this because branded can play thru Maxx C
Synchros like Chaos Angel, Baronne, and Dis Pater can bail you out when you get the girls and the bystials on the field with no fusion available
Definitely, dis pater also being an extender is crazy

I actually saw Red-Eyes Darkness Dragoon in Master Duel, didn't realize it was there. It doesn't give the option to generate it unfortunately. Would be great to see it in action.
All banned cards are in the game I think you just can’t generate them
@@Moha-MasterDuel some of them you can. They were allowing certain cards to be craftable over time, then at one point the just stopped. Not sure why they didn't release them all since they're only usable in duel rooms anyway...

You won’t regret it! But keep in mind it should get hit on the banlist in a month or two, we don’t know how severe the hit will be tho
Could you potentially cut the Borreload Furious for Bystial Dis Pater? Or is Dis Pater not as consistent/valuable in this deck?
Not as valuable because branded fusion locks you into fusions only for the turn, but you can try it and see how well it does for you

In the first combo you said you only need Quem and Branded Fusion but then you used the Aluber on field as a fusion material. I'm not very familiar with this deck, but is that right?
That’s right, branded fusion is at 1, so you’ll almost never hard draw it in your hand, 9 times out of 10 you’ll search it via Aluber, branded opening, or dumping it to grave and grabbing it via retribution, with all these cases you’ll have a monster on the field to use as fusion material

sanctifre is such a good card you can just steal your oponnent monster from the grave to prevent some GY threats.

Branded is definitely currently better than Mannadium, but Mannadium is still missing some cards

Yes you can set it with Albion during the end phase, or you can send it with Quem or Saronir or shrouded dragon from deck to grave, then it’ll add itself back to hand during the end phase so you can set it next turn (pretty slow I know but it’s a play)

I played branded despia eversince i play master duel. They r not too great before. But kept playing them.
It paid off, they’re insanely good now
How do we get past “cannot special summon” floodgates, they also have a spell card that boosts their attack above 2000, and reduces the attack of our monsters

Which ones is more consistency between gimmick puppet deck list and non gimmick puppet?
It's literally just 1 card, so the consistency of the deck is a small percent less consistent due to that 1 card. So the question shouldn't be consistency. What changes is the plays that u make when going for the gimmick puppet lock.
As the commenter above me said, there really isn’t a consistency difference, some people simply hate playing floodgates so they drop the gimmick puppet, it’s an auto win vs 98% of decks if it resolves tho
Can u make the guide for VS like what to do when combo are interrupted. . I learnt a lot from ur guide on VS and m reli thankful for that. But i dont know what to do when combos are interrupted.

bystial saronir will be limited to 1 soon, will it have too much of an impact?
At all, my last video that I uploaded I used branded with Saronir at 1, I went 25-1

My newest branded video has a 40 card decklist

Not sure, a 60 card version won the last meta weekly tho
The thing is 60 cards would have more gas. If you get interrupted which you definitely will be, you need to have other cards which only 60 card versions can provide. No way you can make a good 40 card branded deck, mostly you will reach atleast 45-48.
How can you active Sanctifire in opponent draw phase ? I turned toggle on but not works
It should work if toggle is on, that’s all I do

I had the aluber and fusion deployment combo. My opponent had max c, ash blossom, crossout, and infinite imperance in his oppening hand. WTF.
If you summon cartesia first, then you summon Aluber and he tries to imperm, you can chain cartesia to fusion now using Aluber to dodge his Imperm
But damn he had such a crazy hand 🤦♂️

Imagine crying about gimmick puppet monster and the new controll mechanics of branded when there are decks like labyrinth, purely and kashtira who dominated the meta for weeks / months lmao. 80% of those guys complaining are guys playing those decks crying now that their own tactics are used against them
Exactly, that’s why they get no sympathy.
Playing against full power tearlaments for months was super frustrating too. So many decks have floodgates, multiple negates/disruptions... I just don't care about it being "fun" anymore. I'll use whatever is currently legal, so puppet lock it is.

I don’t think I’ll be making a how to counter, but, if you want to counter sanctifire, you need cards like droplet, bystials, called by the graves and stuff that doesn’t target

It is not Tier 0 it is between Tier 1-2, I feel like vanquish soul is the best deck right now but after that you could either put purely or branded at least I feel so bc of the last Meta Tournament and replays of pros I watched

What I usually do, i collect gems for the entire month, i do every event to get all gems and do all the daily missions, then when new pack drops i get the new cards first day

The only thing I hate about the puppet lock is that the banlist is run by Konami lol. I wouldn't be surprised if they completely kill Branded next banlist instead of hitting the actual "problem" card. I put problem in double quotes because it just lets branded to stuff that other decks already can. Such as lab, kash, pur and whatnot. Pretty crazy how most people who complain about the lock being unfair and unfun are the same people playing those decks.
True, thing is even if they ban puppet, there are still a few other cards you can use to floodgate opponents
There is no need to ban puppet lock since there is enough room for counter play like with called by the grave furthermore decks like labyrinth, kashtira and purely pure floodgate decks. There are several steps before the gimmick is summoned to the opponents field, if you have no counters in your deck then it is your fault there is enough room to negate the summoning

He is, sometimes you’ll summon both Mirrorjade and sanctifire, those who don’t like playing puppet lock will still summon Mirrorjade more often than sanctifire

I was told that Bystial can help me deal with Tearlaments and Labyrinth, but now Branded Despia with Bystial is just another annoying control deck like them :(

It should be enough, but I’d recommend trying a 40-45 card version first, cheaper and could be more consistent

You definitely can play (close to) 40 card version. Cut all hand trap except Maxx c, drop the limited bystial, duster, nadir package, talent (keep thrust).

Welcome to yugioh where the objective is to find some cringe combo that prevents your opponent from even using a single card.
Still it is super funny when they waste resources on puppet locking you but you are already playing gimmick puppets.
