  • I have spent too much time trying to revive the original body on my 1973 Ford Bronco Ranger project. In this video, ill show you guys the straw that broke the camels back for determining that we needed a new tub for this Bronco. We ended up buying the "bad" tub from the show Music City Trucks! Here is the link for the tub before and during the sandblasting the show did to the tub of the Bronco: • Full Build: Restoring ...

I wondered about that tub when they sandblasted it, glad to see it went to a good home.

You really should put new body mounts on your frame before you start to build up your body. Building off the old deformed mounts will lead to alignment issues later on, especially in your door fitment. Cool project 👍👍

You are correct! I have brand new mounts to build from now

I completely understand your situation. I have a 1971 sport bronco that was worse than that one. I started to do rust removal and ended up with only a frame left... 😮 I'm wondering what to do now...

Many companies like Rust Belt Broncos offer a complete tub and the prices on the tub have been coming down, I'm currently in the process of building three of them, one of which will definitely get a new tub

Most people would have folded as well as the body. Well done.

I have a 1975 and would like to hear what your thoughts are on frame off restoration price range would be. Also what the value of this vehicle would be both now as is and after restoration.

If I knew what I know now I should have sold it right after buying and made a couple grand. However, this is exactly why these Broncos cost so much nowadays because they have all required a rebuild of some sort. Not counting my time, spreadsheet says I'll be into this significantly less than buying one in similar condition when done (in 5 years lol)
