Wow okay. Wasn't expecting this. This actually looks like a worthy successor to TMNT IV: Turtles in Time.
At the very least it looks much better than the lousy 2009 remake.
There's no Turtles in Time remake, just like there's no live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender movie, or live-action Dragon Ball movies
The remake wasn't that bad, but it was annoying they couldn't use the original Konami soundtrack. Some of the 4Kids voices like Krang weren't very good though.

To be honest even though I never played Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan I enjoy watching it on CZcams a couple of years ago this game however I'm so looking forward to buy it's awesome

I showed this to my cousin and he thought it was a rerelease of an older TMNT game from the arcades. That alone should tell you how much attention to detail went into this game.
Unironically the best reveal at the Indie Showcase. Being a literal sequel to the classic arcade game made me scream, the animations, personality, visuals- god everything about it looks amazing. Can't wait!
Omg this takes me back, I’m old now 41 years old , but I remember me and my twin brother playing turtles in time , we loved it , we would order pizza and play all night , I liked the stage when Donatello would say neon knight rider, I gotta get this game, I have a video game art degree, this is one of the reasons I went to college.
Probably the first Indie game that I’m genuinely interested in and excited about. Looking forward to playing this.

This is more like a sequel to the Arcade game that the NES game was based on tho. The NES version was a pretty good port of the arcade game in terms of gameplay. Anyway, this new game is what Konami is incapable of developing anymore.

@@Sonicboy71 TMNT2: The Arcade Game and TMNT 3 were both on the NES, however TMNT 4: Turtles in Time was on the SNES. Meanwhile TMNT: Hyperstone Heist was on the Genesis.
the sprites have a GBA style attached to it with more detailation and expressioness then it should have, and I dig it! Rly looking forward to this!

Oh man I'm excited for this game, definitely gonna pick it up when it comes out. Such a great homage to the classic TMNT beat em up games.
Part of me hopes it will have the option to change the Turtles into the "comic book style" like Turtles in Time does, though. Those designs remind me a lot of the 2003 TMNT series and I'd love to see that come back somehow.

I had many tmnt games in the past. My favorite was the one with the burning building at the first level. Also loved the one for NES where you driving with their truck when selecting levels. This one looks so cool! 😍😍

i'm glad that they have traditional spritework instead of making everything 3d just because it's newer, and the music sounds like if toby fox made something on the sega genesis. i'm not really a TMNT fan, but i'm damn impressed at this.

I'm SO excited for this game! Turtles in Time is one of my favorite games, so I was overjoyed when I saw this. The art style looks great and the gameplay looks so fun. My big hopes are that it has online co-op so I can play with my non-local friend and that it's soundtrack is as amazing as Turtles in Time's.
This is a must add to my Switch Digital Library!

This was one of the "free games" that was in the arcade i went to when i was a kid.....you didnt have to use any tokens to play..... I remember playing this for hours on end for free with my dad it was the best
