Outsourcing the dev team for something as complex and risky as a point of sale product while spending heaps of money hiring a bunch of hr, ops, sales and marketing people locally before you even know if the product is going to work just shows how little the ceo understood the tech and startup space, even if he ‘knew crypto’.

Appreciate you guys putting yourselves out there and making this podcast. Find it very entertaining and agree with you on most things. However, the one thing that comes up over and over again is the assertion that there was a lot of potential. I've been following Safemoon since its inception (of course, not as a holder) and immediately identified it as a trainwreck in the making (not trying to be cute or funny here, it was pretty obvious) and I believe that no "marketing created project" really has long-term potential. It was a BEP-20 token for heaven's sake. No innovation or vision but just a lucky break and right time at the right place. Many big NFT projects from that time period struggle with long term visions also, even the Apes and Azuki find it hard to translate the marketing hype into a profitable and sustainable product. How could this ever have turned out as anything else other than what it did? Just some food for thought...
lol bitpay card and others let you buy cars with bitcoin etc loaded on it I bought a used corvette and bmw over 2 days payments using my bitpay card with a 25k daily spending limit 2018.
Was there even an exchange being built, if so what stage was it at?

It’s the end.Almost everyone looked away and no one did anything. Safemoon could had beenthe best crypto after BTC. The potential was huge. I was sure that withing 12 years, thousands of people could had made money from it. I am mad at myself that l did not know how to buy it when it came out. It was a ordeal for me to buy my first batch of SFM. I bought SFM when it was at its peak around mid April 2021.
How about scam partners like BBTF and Don Bailey ?
