My old boss sued his mom.
And now he’s in jail, facing up to 45 years in federal prison for fraud. The company (worth over $8 billion just 2 years ago) has now filed for bankruptcy.
We worked at this company together for a year, and while we didn’t witness fraud firsthand, we saw a lot of crazy things and have plenty of wild stories:

A marketing department that didn’t do any marketing

Anyone who watched the "Pheonix" video and still continued to invest deserved to lose money... at that stage it was so obviously a scam. A guy I know -- we stopped talking over his obsession with SFM -- who invested told me to get in... first video I looked at was the turbine/pheonix one and my first message back to him was "Are you f-ing kidding me, it's a scam".... yep... people just need to open their eyes and not be suckered in. Difficult though when people remain silent, are blocked and when you have scum shills pushing the coin so hard.
What was the coating on the turbines? Did John defacate and smear it on the blade? I imagine particularly greasy turds, sort of like his personality.

So John’s ego expanded beyond his ability and he started treating his own family like trash…..now I understand why his mom went to the FBI. It wasn’t just about him suing her it was that he needed to be humbled and brought back to reality and rescued from himself.
That and his antics were no doubt hurting her already established business relationships. I'd protect my professional reputation before my dipshit adult kid.

Can you please tell us if there was an Exchange being built, and if so how far along was it?
They mostly covered this in another episode but programming and everything was finished by the end of summer in 2021….but John shelved it and NDA’d everybody that worked there not to talk about it. The reason isn’t really known but I’m thinking Either A) he had been taking form the LP and didn’t want the scrutiny an exchange would bring or B) the same reason he shelved the blockchain that was completed…if the exchange debut didn’t live up to community expectations it would have hurt the hype around the project and John wouldn’t have any more carrots to dangle in front of the holders to keep the hype going
