What’s the “Lords of Dogtown” movie about?
This movie based on a true story follows The Z-Boys, a group of young skateboarders: Stacy Peralta (John Robinson), Tony Alva (Victor Rasuk from Fifty Shades of Grey), Jay Adams (Emile Hirsch from Into The Wild and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) and Skip Engblom (Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight and Brokeback Mountain).
They perfect their craft in the empty swimming pools of unsuspecting suburban homeowners in Venice Beach, becoming cult icons for a new generation.

What do they mean locals only? Its a free country let them surf anywhere they want?
Their turf
When you’ve surfed a break for ages and other surfers keep turning up in the end it’s a nightmare. Can’t get a decent wave to yourself. As a born again Christian I don’t condone violence but you need to earn the right to sit outside in the pack at a break
It's a territorial behavior among surfers and skaters. It's to keep the hot spots from getting crowded. As someone who used to skate that's how I understood it.

That's right if I was there, their be no lords of Dogtown, I would fold each one of these surfer/skaters and leave them with fatal injuries.
