16, studying to be surgeon, straight A student, I sure was hoping she'd be found alive. It even hurt hearing they'd raped her multiple times, but to kill her, even worse.
To me these were not criminals, they are monsters, and need the death penalty.

The brothers didn't tell the cops what they knew for 3 days. They knew who took their sister and where they operated. Those 3 days could have been enough to save her. But they only cared about themselves. The cops should have charged them too.

While my two sons were still young (they're both in their 20s now) I only briefly dated one man. My sons never met him, but if they had met him and I'd seen one glimpse of him being jealous of them or not liking them, he'd have been an ex-boyfriend real quick. My sons mean more to me than anyone else in this world.

We didn't last long unfortunately because he had financial problems; I wanted to make a go of the relationship, but it just wasn't meant to be. He was the first person I had a serious relationship with following my divorce.
Our children are more important then any man the risk dont weigh in on the perceived benefits

The father knew she was jealous of Scotty. He should’ve protected his son. He allowed her rage to constantly go on. So sad. The case with Lisa was more horrific than all. She suffered terribly.
The story w/Scotty is exactly why no child should ever be released to anyone w/o not only ID, but after a lot of double-checking to be sure that adult is allowed to take the child from school. Also, the husband should have done something as soon as the new wife showed hatred and jealousy of that innocent young boy, who was his own son. I would never allow someone to even talk about my child like that, let alone to make my child feel unwanted.
This case is one of the reasons why those rules exist now.

I just picked up my neighbors kids and they didn’t ask for any verification or ID. I had never picked them up and kids got in because they were familiar. I am calling the district tomorrow.
The headmaster at the School seemed desperate to separate his school from this distressing incident. I thought that a selfish attitude.
However, it must be made clear that no child should be released from school without clear Identification from a known authority figure in the child's life. In my opinion it is time our high time our Western large electronic surveillance equipment makers, come up with a foolproof alarm system that sets off a tracking transponder whenever a child or vulnerable individual is taken from a predetermined area, and that the transponder can tell the police where the person is.

My husband had anxiety and panic attacks too. Anything that helps what can be a debilitating medical condition is priceless. My husband would watch cable news. I personally believe in God, and you're in my prayers.

She had everything going for her - beauty, brains, a loving sister, but what she didn't have was decent brothers. She could have made a brilliant future for herself in the career she had chosen, and helped others through that career but instead ended up dragged into in something that she had no hand in, caused by her other siblings who didn't even care enough to immediately reveal what had happened when she was taken and their hand in it. So sad. Poor Lisa.

The first story is a perfect example of when seconds count cops are minutes away. She was kidnapped while on the phone with 911. The cops passed them leaving on the way to the crime scene.

Not alit of work. Theae videos were made yrs ago. So it was alot of work for the original makers. This person just copied the videos and named their channel. Maybe a little editing to add to episodes together but other than that its basically copy and paste.
Also you could do it also. Just find creative commons videos on youtube and repost them. Only thing is theres alot of content creators on youtube so u have figure out how to standout with just making creative commons videos.

@@MwanaBantuuthey don’t take what the officer go through into consideration during sentencing unless an officers life was taken or seriously threatened. If they did, no one would be free. It’s up to the judges and prosecutors and sometimes juries.
I'm so sorry for Lisa's parents!! A heartbreaking story, but I do think that both of her brothers should be held accountable for hindering the investigation into what could have been a kidnapping but turned into murder because they wanted to save their own asses.

Pled guilty in 2013. He was given a sentence of 151 months = 12.5 years. His release will be February 28, 2024. A total POS! NO REMORSE AT ALL!

I remember the Lisa rene case when it first happen in 1994. To this day it's is the most heartbreaking case ever I still get upset about this case. And her brothers to this day haven't learned anything still in and out of prison and one of them are still locked up

Sad beyond words. All of them should have received the death penalty. The innkeeper who saw a young girl trying to escape from three men is a heartless monster as well. Their inhumanity in not caring what happened to Lisa and subsequent failure to call.police contributed to her death. It is extremely disappointing that they could not be charged and held accountable for their role. They should be mandated reporters given the likelihood that they could be witnesses to sex trafficking of minors cases.

Lisa Rena- the part about her knee has me in tears. Downside of being the good guys. They tried in vain to save this young girls life. They pretended to be FBI and went to the hotel room of dejuan laster. He was a rapper who had just been signed. All for a little bit of money he had in his car. They could've just stole the car instead of ending his life. It's scary how often this happens and this beautiful, smart little girl did [NOT] deserve this!
I’ve never really watched this show before. I thought Scotty would end up alive until they revealed it, because the mother was so articulate and strong. It’s admirable that she was able to be that strong. RIP to Scotty and Lisa. Terribly heartbreaking. And I hope Lisa’s brothers wake up and go to sleep with the thought and reminder that they caused her death.

Maybe it's an innocent mistake but Lisa Rene was a CHILD, not a 'woman' or a 'lady' as she was referred to on occasion. I've noticed this worrying pattern after watching many of these true crime shows in sequence: black children being referred to adults and young white adults being referred to as boys and girls. It's a problem, with very real consequences for black people.
