That cross garland looks like something you'd put up on a rickety wooden farmhouse to keep demons sealed inside. Once you break/damage the garland seal, all hell is unleashed. Plague and evil spirits attacking the townsfolk. Fire torches and witch hunts.

For those plant pots, you can set live plants in their nursery pots in them. It's a way to "pretty up" those ugly plastic pots while letting you take them out to deep water or fertilize.
What a baffling box! I'm glad you were able to make light of things and see the use in them. The crosses feel a little blair witch to me and the clay hearts are so confusing!

I was not feeling those crosses! What a weird item to put in a mystery box, especially when it can be received by anyone of any religion. The other products, aside from the woven basket, everything seemed so cheaply made!! No sense paying $150 for things you can find at the dollar store

Yeah, bad choice. I think they could look really nice as porch décor for a rustic or farm house aesthetic, but only for a churchy person. They'd also be good with Christmas Garland for Christians. Not a bad item IMO, but too narrow a target audience these days. lol Even many Christians these days find it a bit much to have crosses hanging all over the place. Some would totally be into it, though!

12:48 you could get some scented oils, add a few drops for the clay to absorb and hide the hearts around, just add more drops when the smell fades
I thought of the same thing! It would be super cute and smell fantastic with some diffuser oil poured onto the clay (less than a 1/4 cup pls, otherwise it might bleed through the clay box too!)
I am from honduras and didn't expect at all to see something in that box from there! Honduras is beautiful and clay is one of the most prominent crafts of the country! they clay pieces can be used for decorations, gifts, but you could use them for baking as well!!

Wow, the metal planters & lantern are especially overpriced, especially for the quality of the items. All of it is really, except maybe the cotton striped basket.
So really not a steal, just retail value with a $10 off coupon. Also, I only like planters and lantern, but wouldn't pay that much for those because the quality is pretty rough. Granted, this is my pre-pandemic brain applying pre pandemic pricing expectations.
Have you tried putting a scented oil on the clay hearts? I feel like I've seen that before
I would feel ripped off. I don't want religious items and that clay pot of hearts? What would I do with that? The planters and lantern are okay but for $150. That's a big nope.
Might as well just spend 150 bucks picking out stuff you like.

I got one of these surprise boxes a while back and that cross garland was in it. I donated that immediately. I do like those planters. Iâd put rocks in the bottom and then put a plant in a plastic pot with drainage holes inside. That way the plant can drain into the rocks.
Be sure to spray a clear coat to waterproof the inside of the metal piece (even if it feels/looks like aluminum).
There's these really cheap clear plastic catch trays most garden centers have... def best to put one of those at the bottom first because the water will rust out the metal. Also a good way to dress up pre-made flower planters that have plastic pots. Tp hide the lip of any ugly pot, just get coconut fiber to place around it. Helps keep the soil moist anyhow.
I also think the lantern wound be a great way to hang a potted plant, btw. Petunias or something would look great cascading out of that.

I had the same thought about the wooden beaded crosses. I would write things on the hearts and pull them out when you need a pick me up.

I think with the planters, maybe painting them with some dark grey/black outdoor paint and sealer would work.

That is definitely a different box. I do get more of the boho style from this box. I am worried about the cross garland. As soon as I seen them I got bad feelings in my stomach. It reminds me something from a scary movie like the Blair witch project đ±. I donât think you got your $150 value at all. And your right with it being a mystery box it should be valued about $250. I liked the style of all the items and they seemed to me like they would be reasonably universally appealing. The poorer quality, however, doesn't appear to justify the price. It was still fun to watch you unbox it!

My favorite part was "echooo! Brrrrrrrrp" loved the metal barrels and the lantern.
When you have a get together, For the barrels, instead of plants, you could use the larger one for drinks, if you fill them with ice and put your bottles or cans in there. The smaller one could hold bags of chips or anything smaller and individually packaged. Just a suggestion! âșïžđ
This was kind of a weird one. The creepy cross garland and inexplicable clay pot full of clay hearts really threw me off, and the $150 price tag is definitely excessive. Which all seems extra strange considering their regular box is usually pretty good!đ€·ââïž
Those crosses are definitely giving horror movie where the scarecrow comes to life. Little spooky
Cut the strings on the crosses, and use them for trivets. Use the barrels for ice chests, when you are outside at the fire pit, or inside, to hold water bottles or other beverages
Dampen the basket with a spay bottle or steamer. Stuff it with towels or blankets. When it dries it should hold the shape.
If they're porous, you can TOTALLY use them with essential oils! You can put them in your closet, bathroom, dresser drawers, etc!
You can get that Exact hamper at target. Honestly, that paper looks like something they have put three large printing press and theyâre like tester sheets where they have you know the tester pieces and see how much ink is coming out but honestly so far everything Iâve seen come out of that box is for $50 it less all over to target except the crosses on a string thatâs just flat out odd
If you lightly sand the wooden legs on the "plant stands", collect the sawdust, then mix it with some wood glue to repair the split leg. The sawdust conceals the glue. Once dry, sand lightly. The clay hearts would be decent to keep outside with some citronella essential oil dripped on them.
I love the heart thing full of hearts.. no idea what it is, but I would put essential oils on it as a kind of defuser
Another viewer said that the small hearts are just supposed to be put around on other things like table top, plants, and other decor items, but I love the diffuser idea!
Is it terracotta? Maybe it can be used in a sugar jar if it is.. great to keep brown sugar soft. Just a random thought I had.

I think they're indoor jardinieres that you stand plants in so that the water doesn't drip out the bottom when you water them. Design wise they're... a choice. đ

Alex, the pot you plant the plant in needs drainage holes but not the pot you put that pot into ^^ Otherwise you have water all over your floors.
I would either donate the crosses or take them apart and use the beads as decoration in something else. Thatâs some voodoo looking nightmare.

Omg the crosses are very voodoo ish!!!! Theyâre just creepy to me. The little tin things have potential (Iâd probably paint them) but I have a feeling at the first strong wind they will go flying across the yard lol. This whole box to me was just đđđ especially for the price.

The plants you put in the tins should already have a pot that has a drainage hole. That way you can take the plant in and out and change it around
There's something very Blair Witch about the crosses. Like you'd see them in the house of an eccentric old lady who the towns people are afraid of because a kid died decades ago and there may be a curse involved.
I'd use the lantern to put a potted plant in and hang that on the porch. That would be so cute!
You know, the more I think about it the more I realize I absolutely would use the basket as a jumbo beach bag. That would actually be so useful. Alternatively I'd use it to carry clean laundry to put away.
You could apply some scented oils to the little hearts and place them around the home. (that's what I did when I received a similar looking gift for my birthday)

Hi Alexandra đđ€, I have one of those big woven baskets and I use it as a toy basket for my Dog and he can get his toys out for himself and if I need to move it I just pick it up by the handles and move it easily. Also you can wash it on gentle if it gets dirty. The heart box is so cute, and I think those clay hearts go in your brown and white sugar bins and other food you don't want to dry out and get hard. I have some that are ginger bread men and I love them. The flower bins are cute but I don't know if I like the stands for them. And those day of the dead looking crosses creep me the heck out, maybe those crosses are meant to hang over your bed to keep evil spirits away while you sleep đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł. Anyway fun video. Love you đđ

First item is a laundry hamper. Just literally fill it with your dirty laundry and it will re shape. Itâs literally just a laundry hamper definitely not a beach bag but to each his own.

I have had a similar one but different material and I put a large plant in it (not directly, itâs more like a cover), the white would probably a disaster for any soil..this one probably could be used for fake plants..or dog toys and dirty laundry đ
I believe that the clay heart box and the clay pieces that are inside are meant to be a defuser of some sort. You pour essential oils onto the little hearts inside. I like it!

Clay can absorb water and can be placed in plant pots to help slow drying out.
Hi Alex, I thought a lot of things were cute and I liked those plant stands. I like the bucket to put your blankets in. Thatâs what I would do. And I also like the candle holder.
I've seen a lot of new items for room scents that actually are clay items you put essential oils on & use as room scents so even if that's what the hearts aren't advertised as, it's a great idea!
When you found the stands for the planters,mit occured to me you could use them bottom side up as side tables. Lol. You's have to find a way to make them more sturdy though. With plants, I have always had an internal plastic pot with drainage and then put them in a planter (without drainage) to make them look prettier/match decor. Either way, I really don't think they were designed for outside, but that might must be me.
It was funny how you said you would take things to the new store to use as display pieces, because I had just thought " well, if you don't like them, you have a store that you can sell them in" lol.
They'd be fine on a porch! I think other than the wood that split, they just need a little tightening up.
Maybe you should use a permanent marker and put small kind words on the hearts â€ïž and hand them to your friends. Since it says spread love. Simple uplifting words written on the hearts is what I believe itâs for. As Iâve seen similar but they already had words on them. This way you can make them your own to a loved one. Like âstay strong, you got this etc encouragement words. Would mean a lot to those close to you. Especially during difficult times. Not my favorite box either. Maybe donât do the mystery boxes. I think your 2 planter's would be good place to store all your makeup, skincare, etc that you intend to donate and that way it's not stashed on table
