- In a night that will go down in history, Paul stormed the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival, playing a three hour set crammed with hits from his 60 year career.
There was laughter, there were tears and two very special guests: Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen. Highlights included a triumphant opening of ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’, beautiful tributes to John Lennon and George Harrison, and a mass singalong to ‘Hey Jude’ which had a crowd over 100,000 people joining in with the ‘Na-na-na’s’. Happpy Glastonbury it was brilliant
Every time Paul sings Beatles or Wings songs, EVERY. TIME., I'm transported back to such an innocent, joyful time in my life (junior high, high school and college). I see myself exactly where I was when first hearing these songs. It really gets to me. Paul still has swagger too! 80 is just a number! Great video. ❤️

My late dad was an avid fan of The Beatles, when he passed away in 2021 I always play the songs of The Beatles whenever I can't sleep at night and Let it be was my favorite beacause it was also my dad's favorite. Being a kid when I discovered The Beatles on my very own with french parents who did not relate to it, spent -a lot- on albums, books and yet, I, myself am an aging man as well to see Sir Paul "posting stuff on CZcams" makes me humble as I lost my Linda too but got to stay in the kitchen even if I can't take the heat.

@@james.p.mccartney 1963 in São Paulo, Brazil I was a missionary kid (13). Someone sent us a locker full of clothes and include where 4 pics of the Beatles. Each individually on about the size of a baseball card. I took them to school to show my friends. They cried and begged for the cards so I ended up giving them to my friends.😂 I loved my Brazilian friends!

I was lucky/blessed/amazed to see him performing on the 90's in our National Stadium. Since then tickets in Chile are ridiculously expensive, and now we are a party of 3, with my son. Luckily we have the Beatles Club at La Reina, very good cover band with one Beatlemania former member, hope they continue for many years same as Paul still keeps rolling...

For me there is another reason the get moved. It is a mystery, but there is something mysterious connecting me to this city called Glastonbury. I had a vision once I was up on a hill and could see an old church. I got inside it, touched its walls and felt it was really very old. I was not sleeping, only meditating, Some days later a woman that reads cards told me I had to climb in a peak in Glastonbury to know who I am in fact. I decided to research about it and, to my surprise, it was exactly the same place i had seen in my vision. So I had already climbed the peak...but, unfortunately, I didn't discover who I am. LOL
A few months later I went for a therapy and had to chose a bottle with my medicine, a kind of floral. They had 80 bottles and I had to pick up one. I chose mine and the therapist told me I chose the only one made with waters of Glastonbury. And it meant i possibly had an angelic soul. I really don't know if that is true, of course. I know people create lots of stories that are not real. However, it was a coincidence anyway. Now to see Sir Paul McCartney, my favorite male singer composer in such a place and with two others I also admire made me almost in tears. It moved me a lot.
