@@LimpBizkitDrummer it's a combination of his back issued and the brute force style of playing he has. He beats the shit out of his drums

Can confirm. I constantly read people saying “Chris Turner from OAA is doing things no drummer has done in this genre” and I just constantly was like, I’m sure I’ll get there some day. And I regret it every day since 🤷🏼

Honestly if you slow this down, he is literally on super time, his timing is nuts, you can hear all the little details soo well and he cant be human, basic biology 😂

Once in a while maybe bc when hes in the zone he absolutely looks like a robot or maybe an alien species of some kind so yes we have been invaded they just dont want our bodies. They want to remind us more mortals how awful our drumming is no matter how many hours practicing or years playing! Damn Chris you're a beast!

I’m not a drummer, some people here find his set weird, can you explain me why ^^?
Not an expert but unlike other sets everything is put up so low he can see every part of his kit in one eye level
The height and angles of the kit / cymbals are different than anyone else. If you notice, the cymbals are angled away from him, that's super weird.

Didn't you just describe what a song is. Random parts arranged together by means of Verses, Chorus', Intro, Outro, Bridge?
Finally someone who pointed that out. Their songs have no structure whatsoever and everything sounds so odd and random...
I mean if you pay attention and understand how the song is intended to convey emotion, the song is supposed to be jarring
