- What do motorcycles have to do with shooting? Plenty, if you take part in Motoschützen - an invitation-only shooting industry event. This year, non-biker GUNS Editor Brent T. Wheat joined the group for a sidecar ride. In this episode of the 'Cranks, he reports back about the guns, the gear and what it's like to cling like a Zebra mussel to a hurtling death-bike!

As a small engine and motorcycle enthusiast, I had a good laugh on this one. I think Mr. Wheat has been thoroughly introduced.
Isle of Man, not Wight. I've been riding and shooting since I was a kid. Age 12 got my first gun; age 15 my first motorcycle. I'm 74 and still riding and shooting! (but usually not at the same time!)
That’s great. I’ve spent a lot of time on 2 wheels and love it. Being disabled I had to give it up. But recently I decided to choose between the sidecar for balance or the Can Am Spyder Lt and I went Can Am. I love it! Back on the road again. Can’t get enough. Good stuff! 🤠
A long time ago, we had a side car rig, purchased to haul our infant daughter to various motorcycle events. I would ride it to work now and them and give the cute ladies at work rides around the block, much to their delight.
I am jealous!!! As a life long Motorcyclist and car nut who also just happens to shoot guns for fun, I wish I could have been there. As an aside, I did ice race a 900 Kawasaki with a homemade sidecar on the left side. Oh what fun!!!
Roy looks like WC Fields in this episode.
Our squad from western div used to go to Miramar to shoot trap. There were old retired Navy and Marine officers shooting. They'd take out their $10,000 trapguns, shoot a perfect 25, sit down for awhile with a cup of coffee then get back up and shoot another perfect 25. To the consternation of my duty pardner I broke out my 870 duty shotgun to shoot a 12.
We were less than impressive. Roy probably knew most of these guys in 1982.
Great show , but not the same caliber as the Potato Launcher Stunts .
Two seat side car. Side by side. Why not?
Small g on "gentlemen"?
