Holy crap I can’t believe I’ve gone this many years not realizing that not all usb cables send data because they only send power. I have had so many unnecessary issues over the years using usb cables and not realizing such an obvious thing.

When you install both XFW and RM firmware, are you actively running both at the same time ? Or are you just able to choose between the two in qflip

Love the info but question, you install esp flasher BEFORE you installed rogue master. Does that mean if I follow your video step by step and install esp flasher before rogue master, then do I need to go back to flipc and then reinstall esp flasher with the rogue master firmware chosen?
I’m TOTALLY a hacker but never learned how to properly insert a sd card. This video helped a lot! 👍🏽

Hey Sasquach, I just got my flipper and I am following this guide after watching a ton of your videos. I just got the repository and now I am on the custom firmware part. I watched a lot of videos on unleashed and extreme (not sure if they are the same thing). At least from a video standpoint I'm not entirely sure what the advantages/ disadvantages are to switching to a custom firmware. I'm assuming the stock and custom still pull from that repository?

Hey great stuff, thank you! I got all the way to 13:41 but when trying to install the silicon labs universal drivers I get an error message "The third-party INF does not contain digital signature information". Plus, my extracted files don't show the suffix, i.e. .inf; so when I right click no option to install.

are you/have you already made a video about all the fun and cool stuff you can do with it such as using it as a replacement remote / garage opener or keyboard and mouse? i got mine a couple of days ago and ive only been using it for games lol. i dont really know the full capabities of what it can really do with stuff such as the nfc and subghz

Great walk through, I'm just having one issue I hope you can help me with. I was also following you through your marauder tutorial and my .pcap files are empty. Any idea what I can do to get them to actually contain the data. It shows on screen it is sniffing the packets. Thank you

I followed everything and it worked perfectly (I flashed Xtreme) but then a day later I wanted to check RM so I flashed that but now when I reflashed Xtreme I no longer see the option the flash either Marauder or Evil Portal I only see one option which is Marauder (has Evil Portal).

Dude I just ordered a flipper zero and a WiFi dev board and as soon as I did it went to sold out so I’m happy I did it might just be I ordered the last dev board now I am seeing flipper zero’s themselves still in stock but there going fast people get one while you can!!!

I followed your tutorial and I'm having an issue with the dev board I can get it to do the Rick roll and when I go to do the deauth it appears to be working, but it doesn't knock me off my Wi-Fi.
I go in and plug the number info the ap, save it and deauth fails.

Why installing Roguemaster before XFW if the latter is already based on the first one? Also, the reason you got the first esp32 installation wrong was the firmware version (you had a RC version of OFW but you selected unofficial.)

i dont remember how i did it but it might be esp flasher to switch from marauder to evil port in the flipper without needing a computer

Does the FZEE flasher and flasher on the Flipper Zero support only the wifi module sold by the flipper zero store or can you flash any ESP32? I have a Freenove Esp32-s3-wroom cam board and was going to try and use it with my Flipper. I tried to get it to work a few months ago but had to put it aside or chunk it due to irritation. Any advice and/or help would be greatly appreciated! Also, thanks for the videos.
