    They used abs plastic sheets to build the amp mount if anyone is wondering. It’s easy to mold with the application of heat

    Dean, because there can be such a drastic difference in tapping the signal from an OEM head unit or amplifier depending on the YEAR and STEREO OPTION of each TACOMA (and other vehicles, of course), it would be REALLY HELPFUL if you could state the Model YEAR and what OEM stereo Option the vehicle has when you are doing these install videos...PLEASE?!?! :-)
    While the LC7i *might* be the perfect Solution for THIS vehicle, it may not be for other model Years and/or Tacoma's with a different OEM stereo Option.

    I have a 2023 Tacoma and will be installing this in auto mode for adding a sub and amp. I currently have an amp running 4 channels for mid and high, can I put this in auto mode and run it that way if no sub is connected?

    Do you need to measure the output voltage of the LC7I before it feeds the amp,so it doesnt exceed the input sensitivity of the amp?

    Nice vid! Can you do a video comparing the lc7i vs kicker keyloc 200.4? Isn’t using one rca to two rcas on the kicker allow you to connect multiple amps like a 4 ch amp for front/back speakers and a mono amp for subs? What would you recommend?

    Did you just connect the power and ground of LC7i to the same of the amp in parallel? Without fuse? With no fuse block? Would you please explain the power and ground connection of LC7i. Thank you.

    Hi, I noticed you’re using 2 speed wires. Do you have to ? I’m running 1 9 conductor wire and all 4 of my speakers won’t play at once. I’ve connected them from the factory radio to the lc6i. Thank you.

    Hi Dean & Fernando, I have a factory stereo unit working with a dsp alpine pxe 0850x but the subwoofer level is to low . I would like to know if I can use the audio control lc7i to fix the low level subwoofer signal connecting this unit before the dsp. Best regards

    Did you guys take out the factory amp or did that model truck not have one. I have a few amps on my car that I want to move over to my tundra but I'm still figuring out the install. I would like to keep my factory stereo

    Hello, I hope you all are doing well at this unfortunate time. I have the same amp and Lc7i and looking to install in my 2018 JLU Jeep with the base system and 7" screen. I want to install the equipment under the passenger seat and am interested in more information on the material you used to mount these products as I am looking to do the same. I'm not a ply wood kind of guy lol and I want to do this as professional as possible. Thank you!

    Great videos guys as always. Around 16:00 you said you have the wires shielded. Did you mean protected with the loom, or did you actually shield them - like a coaxial cable is shielded??

    Does the low frequency signal come through the rear speakers on a Tacoma? I’m thinking of getting one of these. Mine is a 2023.

      You have to use test tones and take voltage measurements to figure that out.

    Great vid, love watching the channel. How much different would this install be if the Tacoma had the JBL system like mine? Would the lc7i still work or would an iDatalink be a better option with the factory amp?

    Thanks for this video! I have a 14 Tundra, I want to keep the stock radio. Will I need both a DSP and something like LC7i? I'll be using either the same focal speakers, or possibly the Kenwood 7" components. No idea yet on amp, and no clue what to do about subs, since my truck is a double cab. Thanks again gentlemen!

      No you will not need both. The DSP will have it built in to it. Maybe look into a DSP amp this save space. Kicker Qclass 10005 or one of the AudioControl D6-1200

    I installed an lc7i in my tacoma. I summed both front and rear channels together since the rear speakers have a really weaker signal. I basically have no fader though.

    What brand RCA wires do you use or recommend ? I am doing my own " 911 rescue " on a 1999 2 door 2 wheel drive Chevy Tahoe . The system has good equipment in it , it was just installed by a hack of an installer . The sad part is the guy I bought it from owns the shop that it was abused installation wise . It even has the cuvoted JL stealth center console sub box !

    I have watched almost all of your videos and i have learned soooo much my car sounds 100000 times better with your suggestions. quick question. are you grabbing power for the LC7I directly from The amp? i may want to do this for my dq-61. when using gto on DQ-61 sometimes i can see it on but i have either no sound or the base remote does not turn on so i have turn the car on and off. any ideas.

      GTO is not a hundred percent, that was is why for this one we are turning it off and on connecting to Accessory power behind radio for turn on. We had an issue on a Toyota previously

    I’m about to put a kenwood ddx276bt in and crutchfield says it must be connected to the brake for the DVD player to work. Is that true? Before in my old suv they made it so I could watch dvd while the car is driving. Can you still do that with newer kenwoods?

    So on the LC7i, you can't use channel 3 for full range signal, no jumper setting for that? So you can't run channel 1 for tweeter, channel 2 for mid-range and channel 3 for full-range?

    Hi love ur videos I have a question I know u a busy guy if u or Fernando can answer me a simple question I have a 2015 camry le basic I have a lc6i and Toyota dont have a remote wire I have mine from accessories on radio but have a buzz noise on speakers with radio off and my battery dies if I don't turn car on in 3 days straight but I see the lc6i n lc7i no need to connect straight remote they get signal from rca that's true or from what I'm saying u think I did smt wrong there

    I was taught on the LC7i if the vehicle only has front and rear with no sub, the 3rd inputs give you the sub signal. thought vehicle does not need full range, the lc7i gives it the range. is this correct?

      You can tap from head unit or oem amp straight to lc7 then to your aftermarket amp. Looks like they went with the head unit with auto mode on to make a channel 3 for subs.

      @@CountryQ how would I wire mine? I have a factory amp and factory head unit. My front doors have a mid driver and a tweeter. Rear doors are a full range signal. I have factory sub, but I don’t have an aftermarket that I want to replace it with. My question is how do I wire the LC7i in order to keep left/right front/back fader, and to get full range signal to all channels (my speakers are components and each set has crossover boxes that I’ve already wired up)

      You could but why? The epicenter is Audio Control for subs only. You'd have a third of the LC7i not being used. It would be okay if you plan on adding a four channel amp eventually. But if you are only going to do it for subs, the epicenter would be a wiser choice.
