I love American Dad. I usually have it playing while I do other stuff like play games, color, do dishes, etc. and pay attention just enough to get a few laughs and follow the plot. This episode made me stop what I was doing and give it my undivided attention. I loved it. I wouldn’t want AD to do these types of episodes too often bc at its core it’s still an adult animated comedy but I really liked it!
the more experimental episodes that break out of the usual formula are always the best, i.e. rabbit ears, lost in space, gold top nuts
Lost in Space introduced me to Wax Fang, and I'll forever be grateful for that
I remember when I first watched this episode, I was playing Minecraft at like 1 am, it caught my attention immediately, it was so eerie I watched it 3 times that night I really liked it
The song from this episode is stuck in my head for life…
What I find interesting about this episode is that the B plot is honestly kinda weak. It's just Roger is a baby. But the A plot is extremely strong, so we don't need a B plot. This is my favorite episode as well.

This is a reference to the incredible classical piece of art called Nighthawks by Edward Hopper. A very, very somber painting. It explains this episode so well.
I cannot describe it. But this episode along with the painting Nighthawks is a very special feeling.

I LOVE this episode! One of my all-time favorites! ALL of my friends hate it, though. I just assumed it was a weird one-off episode that nobody really gave a damn about.
My I add the fake wall they encounter with the diner is based off a oil painting called “nighthawks” from the 1940s

I never thought I'd find a channel so good so unappreciated to the level you deserve sir. You have an amazing future ahead of you. I really couldn't agree more and have wanted to make these videos especially this one myself.
I love the fact that, if weren't around in the 1960's, you might not know that "Nighthawk's Hideaway" is a direct reference to Hugh Hefner's "Playboy Penthouse" show that premiered in (1959, I believe). The jazz piece in American Dad is incredibly close to the original theme which was actually written specifically for Heffner's show. They just changed a few notes here and there to avoid copyright issues, I submit.
This and Gold Top Nuts are probably my favorite episodes

I only saw this episode a few weeks ago, and yeah, it's tremendous. I watched it a few times as I absolutely love it. It's perfect. Great jokes, perfect timing, cool concept for the story, and great voice work from Chris Pine who became one of the best villains in the series. This, and Fartbreak Hotel are my top two. Great video, and happy I came across your channel. Subbed.

I rather like American Dad; the episodes, in my opinion, are pretty good, especially compared to Family Guy.
I mean I personally liked the episode with the end of the world and the alternate reality
American Dad and the Twilight Zone work surprisingly well together

I didn't "get" it.
Personally im not a fan of this episode. While i get the intent, the mystery wasn't too hard to guess for me (and not in a fun way) and the lack of humour from a show i watch gor comedy just bored me

rabbit ears was bad there are better ones like the flooded house episode, the ark , the rapture & 200 episode, ricky spanish, the CIA labyrinth, any of the specials
