i would never think that in 2024 i would be watching a 30 minute video of keyboards clicking away however this has been the most helpful video about my new found obsession.
This is so helpful, thank you!! I have so many switches on testers but it's not the same as hearing them actually in use. Your videos are always informative and enjoyable 😊
You have the most detailed and helpful videos that are also aesthetically pleasing. I am sure everyone will appreciate the time you would take to make these! Changing switches alone takes so long 😅
I am blind myself so can't tell what switches you're using. Any chance we could have a description of what switch it is at each point of the video. would be eternally helpful :)
I'm astonished that you had the patience to do this. I hate swapping out just to compare 2 or 3 switches, I can't even fathom doing it FIFTY times... then doing it again... then doing it AGAINNNN. You're doing the lord's work my friend lmao!
Your videos are so helpful, can't imagine how much work it must be! Helps me get a clearer idea of what to buy. Which is your personal favorite for daily typing of these ones you tried?
Great video as always. Really impressive. But i have a question if you don't mind. Why do you still use tofu 60 v1? Considering v1 is discontinued. Why not grab maybe the v2's or maybe cheap in-stock alu gasket board
Simple, after all these tests, I dont want to do it again with another keyboard... :p In order to be fully comparable, the keyboard and keycaps need to be exactly the same... That the only way to note the subtle difference in sound.. So i'm stuck with this board for a long time I guess ahaha.. If I want to compare new switches with existing switches, I want to be able to use these footages with new ones! Thank you for your good words! :)
Thank you for the comparison! This is really helpful. May I know which Gateron North Pole 2.0 switch did you use? There is Red, Yellow, Brown, and Silver.
Great video! Doing my first build what switches or configurations would you recommend to build a thocky/creamy/marbly/muted/quiet sounding Mode Envoy? Ones I liked the most in this video were the vertex v1 and the aqua kings but I also have my eye on the oil kings and ws morandis. Build list: alu black case with pom plate, hotswap pcb, multicolor accent and weight, drop+gmk mecha 01 caps with tx stabs
Sorry I can't anwser, since this would be up to your personal preferences... I could say Thocky board, but you could preferer clacky board... Vertex, aqua king, oil kink are solid choices. I have not tested Morandi yet! Thank you! :)
Nebulas are the absolute thockiest switch I’ve tested out of about 100+ switches. Very deep thock. Very satisfying. Milky Yellows are up there, too, and more affordable.
I'm super picky when it comes to linears because the only ones I like are my gateron reds swapped with mx clear springs. I'm used to tactiles and clickies preventing me from making accidental keypresses. What linears would you recommend for the similar weighting of mx clear if any? (Light initial force and heavy bottom out force.) Epic video btw.
Check for the Akko Cream Black Pro.. Similar weighting, but smoother than mx clear: en.akkogear.com/product/akko-v3-cream-black-pro-switch-45pcs/?ref=56360
Sorry for asking the question you hate to answer. But what are your 5 best switch overall? they all sound the same and feel almost the same to me. Im looking for switch that is deep and smooth like durock black lotus, but the durock has some pinging leaf crunch issues.
Leaf ping is hard to remove on some JWK but the rest can be resolved with lubing. Vertex V One sounds deeper also JWK winglatches which have different contact leafs. Second deepest manufacturer in this list is Aflion. Would be nice to hear some popular BSUN switches 'cause they can sound deep like Roselle, X, RAW, London Fog. I also like sound of LICHICX and Keygeek switches.
That's depend, maybe my preferences are not the same as yours! ;) So my favorite could not be yours.. But many asked for this, and I dont have the answers right now, but I think that could worth a video for the end of the years, maybe a top 5 tactile, linear and clicky! Will work on that! Have not tried the black lotus yet... Thanks for you comments!
For all those switch whic one is the most thock and which one is the creamiest? After listening all of the switch my brain just explode. Maybe you can help me
ahah good question... creamier I would say somewhere between Epomaker bluebird, chosfox dd, akko piano... Thockier would say Epomaker Wisteria, Gazzew LT and KFA N20!
Your switch review videos are by far the most helpful ones on CZcams; thanks!
That’s so amazing, thank you so much!! This helps me a lot, that’s so kind of you! Thanks!! ❤️😊
Easily the best! No pretense, keyboard cliches or random cats lol. @@ClickandThock

The Akko V3 Cream Yellow spacebar with the MT3 keycaps is unreal

These interest me more than those old switches in part 1
These are the same switches, just tested while typing !

What didnt you include Gateron Smoothies? And what do you think about them?
Never tried them, so I could not put them in the video...
thx man bc of u have have a better keyboard and my friend too❤
So glad it helped! Thanks to you!!
The crystal silvers sound so poppy on every keyboard I'm gonna get it as soon as I can
PC housing really make switches popping!
Good video
Thanks!
which would you say are the loudest switches out of these 50?
Between these probably the gazzew LT, but check for the Moyu Fuyu in my videos.

It is available in each individual switches videos.. Maybe I should have put it in this ...
What are your top 3 favorite for linear switches?
Check my Top 5 linear switches video! :)
@@ClickandThock okay
I'm at 7 minute mark at you just convince me to get Vertex V1.
Edit: 9:00 and Aqua King is a sold
Both great choices! But for the price, Vertex are hard to beat!
Vertex V1 is basically perfect stock. holy sh*ttttt

All these switches are stock! Some factory lube, some not!
Red Bull's on me

Can you recemmend nice creamy sound in these?
Akko Piano Pro, Chosfox and Blue Bird are solid choices!

Wished you tried it with different plates
Yeah, but this is already extremelly time consuming, I would not make it alive if I would have make these with different plates ahah
@@ClickandThock you are extremely right about that haha, I dig all your content still though
they call him switch master, switches faster then lightning
ahah the switch master!
is it just me or are the keycaps way too loud to hear most of the switches?
What do you mean?
@@ClickandThock I could barely hear the switches because all I could hear were the keycaps
