Can someone please explain the scene to me. I legit don’t understand it and idk why, ive always know it was sexual and stuff and I find it great but Idk why! Like just what is a stopwatch have anything to do with this scene?
Ianto was one of the most interesting characters I have ever seen. He might give the first impression he's happy being the gentle skivvy, the man behind the desk but he shocks you with how cool he is with a gun and has gone through a troubling past, with realistic long lasting trauma. He's quiet, shy, smart and quick-witted, but there lies a side that thrives on action and violence, dark humoured and flirty and he switches between the two flawlessly.
I said that to my friend as a joke. I called him and he answered, so I said that line and hung up. I had an angry text within a minute. It was hilarious!
I love how happy Martha seemed to be for Ianto and Jack. Martha knew Jack was hopelessly in love with The Doctor, like herself and she was so glad he moved on. That's what I love about Martha

Watching how his costume changes over the seasons is almost heartbreaking. In the flashback episode (where he complements Jack's coat twice) he isn't in a suit but his pants and coat are still black and his shirts are white. Then in season 1 his shirts are white and his ties fairly muted, then in season 2 he has brighter ties and lightly coloured shirts, season three rich (darkish) shirts, CoE the same... and then dead. The way he starts to express himself through clothing as he grows and heals from the trauma of Torchwood 1 and the Battle of Canary Wharf is just so well done!
For season 1 I think his shirts are white ( in the first episode) then it goes to light blue possibly but it could be the lighting making them look blue

The several scenes in the series where the team is eating are always my favorite. Seeming them bonding without a care in the world like real people would. Always adds a hint of sadness on rewatching when I see those scenes and take into consideration that 3/5 of the team are dead before age 35.
the series has some of the most realistic character personalities u will ever see . that being said, I feel like I'm looking in a mirror when watching ianto character. just the quiet and tammed nerd finding love in weird places. kind and passionate on the inside. just wanna do my own thing . not chasing everyone but found a eye for a few and let that shit turn your life around ever time lol , in silence of course. people always think u got it together
