Adam (leigh whannel) is actually the writer from insidious, the conjuring) and also a fun fact this was the first movie of James wan (director of insidious, the conjuring, fast and furious) and leigh and James actually paid for almost the whole movie. Twisted pictures believed in them and they said we only want to get paid when the movie makes money. Almost every special effect is practical and a lot of crew member worked for free.
And now here we and have saw x and it was perfect for me
I remember this in the theater, people were stunned into silence at the ending. It was so unsettling.
35:14 the music that plays here (Hello Zepp/Saw Theme) is the ultimate plot twist song. It will make sense after watching the other nine movies
They were so excited they didn’t notice that Lawrence gave his whole government name in the very beginning lol
You guys gotta check them all out the story gets more and more crazy with tons of interesting characters with tons of twists and turns. Its like a horror soap opera. Try to avoid spoilers.
This franchise's dedication to just going with the insane plot line and not resetting is impressive.

Fun Fact: Was filmed in 18 days.
Movie Magic Fact: Leigh Whannell and James Wan confirmed that when Adam begins to smash Zep (Michael Emerson) with the toilet lid, he is actually hitting a garbage bag full of fake blood.
Subtle Camera Storytelling Fact: Director James Wan wanted the camera movements to reflect the two main characters' emotions and personality. He filmed Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes) with steady controlled shots and Adam (Leigh Whannell) as handheld shots to capture their emotions of the situation.
Gun Enthusiast Fact: As Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes) is loading the cartridge into the revolver to shoot Adam (Leigh Whannell), the camera briefly shows all six chambers of the cylinder to be empty. Revolvers don't eject spent cartridges, yet the man on the floor was supposed to have shot himself with the same gun. What looked to be a continuity error is actually a subtle foreshadowing to the twist ending.
Adam is played by Leigh Whannell, one of the creators of Saw and the writer of the script/screenplay. He and James Wan, the director, are best friends and when they watched the last scene James had to leave the room to cry because Leigh’s screams were so heartbreaking and realistic.
Adam (Leigh Whannell) is also Specs in Insidious. He wrote Saw, co wrote Saw 2 & 3, wrote Dead Silence, wrote Insidious 1, 2, 3 (& directed) & 4. And wrote & direct Invisible Man. He's very talented and Adam is one of my fave character.

Fun fact: Saw started as a short horror film by James Wan that then was discovered and was the inspiration for a full length film which is this one. That short film and Saw is the beginning of his directing journey
Haha seeing Denise's hands and excitement when Adam got the jump on Zep. She was mimicking the toilet bashing and I couldn't help but laugh so hard.
Saw is in my top 3 pure horror films ever, an original horror piece that helped re-define and re-invigorate the genre.
Hope you'll react to all of them . They have an ongoing story that is pretty interesting. Yes they get brutal but i think it's worth it . Also you'll get to see much more of Jigsaw. In the first movie his identity was a mystery so we didn't get to spend much time with him .

Lawrence as a doctor knew he was gonna bleed out.
He was just trying to comfort Adam a bit because he knew they were both screwed.
And 2004 definitely had the technology.
Secruity cameras only really became common in the 1970s.
But the first one was inveted all the way back in the 1920's.
One of my horror movie/show rules is: If at all possible, check if the dead person is really dead. Goes for Billy Loomis, goes for John.

#TeamJigsaw In the sequel, and all the sequels that follow, you will see that Jigsaw is actually onto something here, that he makes a good argument for his extracurricular activities. I always say, most of the "victims" are the actual villains in these films, and Jigsaw is somewhere between vigilante and antihero. Some participants don't deserve as harsh or as difficult a game.

The people that say the movies digress as they go along can't handle the gore that comes with this series and they let that overpower the awesome storyline that they give. Every one of these movies, in my opinion, are amazing. And the story gets better.

Cool fact. Thee guy playing Adam is now a director as well. Last year he made a cool sci-fi thriller called UPGRADE. Very well done with great special effects. Very entertaining but with great twists. Pleas check it out too. A couple of other reactors have as well

Jigsaw tells Adam the key is in the bathtub at the end, like he’s allowing him to leave. I wonder what would’ve happened if Adam had just explained that the key went down the drain instead of trying to shoot him

You have to follow the story, everything and everyone matters, the saw franchise is underrated, people get caught up in the traps, follow the story and you'll be surprised, Saw 6 is considered the best.

I really loved the the first few especially this one. It's been sad for me to watch this franchise fall off with many disappointing sequels. But that's also why I was so thrilled about Saw X, it felt like a return to form for me.

Just found your channel because i saw SAW. Just finished watching it and hope you continue. It is brilliantly written and all movies connect (at least 1 thu 7) do. I did not watch the 2 after number 7 but will watch number 10 that just came out. 1 thru 7 are all great and cant wait to watch 10 because ive heard good things about it.
PS please dont wait long to watch in between movies. I hate that...plus you need to pay attention to the movies.

Loved this reaction! Saw 1-6 do hold up to varying degrees - you'll enjoy them all! Saw 7 didn't really live up to those, but it's still very watcheable and ends the main storyline. Skip Jigsaw and Spiral, they're terrible and irrelevant, and go straight to Saw X, which is set between 1 and 2. You're in for a fantastic ride with this movies - it's like putting together a big jigsaw puzzle and filling in the pieces. Enjoy!
I mean even if 8-9 don’t live up in your opinion if your watching them all no need to skip them.

They will not hold up, sorry to say. I absolutely love the first Saw movie. Jigsaw is one of the most interesting horror villains and the twists and turns the story delivers are awesome. Unfortunately, they quickly devolve into slaughter-fest movies. Be prepared. The first time I ever legit threw up watching a movie was Saw 3. If you can handle the gore, the story is worth it, though, so I look forward to seeing more if you do. Saw 2, at least, is still pretty good. =D

This is my favorite horror franchise! Scream is #2.
The later installments dip in quality, and the timeline can be confusing - but the story and drama that plays out is so much fun!
My favorites of the sequels are 2, 6, and 10.
I'd say the worst of the "original run" is 7.
Jigsaw (8) is a weird outlier, and Spiral (9) - the Chris Rock reboot is trash, imo.
I really place the longevity of the series on the intricate writing and Tobin Bell's nuanced performance as John.
I heard, after the success of 10, 11 and 12 have been greenlit.

You guys are about to become so disappointed as this series goes on. The gore is there just to have it, and the story starts to get messy/stretches too far. Definitely, should watch them all to see the story but it gets pretty disappointing from this on out.
