I know having a tire changed isn't that expensive. But I really like building things like that and being able to do as much as possible myself.
Here is a list of some of the products I have used. You don't necessarily have to order them online! I am sure you will find something in your local hardware store too!

Nice work! Also loved the witty, efficient (no talking, very fast and well-videoed) delivery.
Super Arbeit! Und perfekt gefilmt 😉
Good job, very inspiring.
Good job. Inspired.
I wish I was this talented
Beeindruckend genial dieser Typ ☝
Ive seen this style in action its awesome and easy, fine workmanship, hey polish those carriage bolt heads, nice touch
Nice job and glad the poor old Thruxton got protection this time.
Sehr geil, wie sauber und genau hier gearbeitet wird!
Looks just like the Olmax tire changer from Poland that works great!
Yes, that's what some have already said. I can really recommend this one, value for money is really good.
The Olmax is super nice, and a good value.
Just came across your video. Nice work
Super Sache!! Werde ich wohl auch mal nachbauen 😁
Super gemacht
fantastic
Cara kerja yang sangat rapi👍
Beautiful work
Thanks for Sub!
Like your hand made bro
Parabéns meu amigo top
Nice job, I love your work. 👌 Thank you for this video.
Can you please tell me dimensions of the tyre bead breaker . Dimensions of plate, arm and fork. The distance between the holes.
I will make all this. I already started so I will be very grateful for this informations. Thank you in advance.
Nice
I'm about to do this same thing, after seeing the prices of similar tire changers.
0:23 some dimensional lengths would come in handy so that we do not have to re-invent the wheel. Supply those dimensions and I will buy you a few Augustiner Edelstoff beers when I am there. Edelstahl...typisch Deutsch! And at 2:03 we have to talk about that target with shots all over the place. They should all be in the X. Kaufen Sie sich einen Feinwerkbau. Nice TIG welds! Top construction. Das mag ich!
You just have to get the dimensions from your bikes, I built my construction in such a way that I can use from 17"- 21". I've written the measurements somewhere in the comments below, see if you can find it. Otherwise, I'll measure it when I get a chance, I don't have it in my head right now. The target is a souvenir from Texas, I shot with an AR15 full auto for the first time😂
That is very good that you show this here for free! But you have to have so many tools to make it like welding machine, drill press, bench, grinder etc. Also you have to know how weld etc ))
But anyway thx for sharing!
You are welcome! Yes you are right it is really a lot of work. You can also build it from normal steel. I built it out of stainless steel because I'm a really bad painter! If you add it all up, it will not save you any money. I built it because I just like building things like that and love to be able to do as much as possible myself.
@@q-bigwerkstatt2 Oh, looking at your videos it looks so easy that it makes me want to build it too) Just need to get necessary tools first.
Astrein!

Great video, great work, refreshing! To do this myself does not seem very practical because I prefer spending 100 EUR for a similar tool from a shop, but above all I unfortunately do not have all the fancy tools you have to create this tool :-). Your garage must be a Walhalla for us DIY-ers
👍
Can you post a video of your vise please
Great build - some questions
- Where did you source the centering cone that slides down the shaft? The one thing I can't find...
- The unit in the video where you use it has a couple of bolt heads showing on the frame that weren't there on the build version.. what are they for?
- Curiosity question - why two arms out the bead breaker side rather than just one in the middle? I'm sure there must be a reason.
Hello, thanks for your interest! I got the cone from a friend, it just happened to fit the 20mm shaft.
The two square tubes on one side are there to prevent you from getting centered with the lever. The screw heads you mean are for mounting, either on the floor or on a workbench.
you don't necessarily need the cone, I've often done it without it lately. There will also be a new video about it soon.
Nice but what was the build cost?
Best moment: 6.05
Do you have a project file?
Dude,you are amazing
I would say that you should sell these, but seeing you own 2 triumphs (or thats what seems) and having that kind of tools in your garage looks like you have your econoical life solved, and you are just doing this for hobbie.
Soo saying that,
Good vid you just earned a new subscriber from Uruguay :)
Thanks for your subscription! I'm just a hard working mechanic😅
@@q-bigwerkstatt2 well,
Keep doing the good work.
:)

This is a German Page, maybe you find an other one in your location. Or you ask "renngrip" if they shipping to you.
Search for " Duckhead"
Where did you get the piece that breaks the tire from the rim?
this is just a scrap piece of flat steel made of stainless steel
weld it to a piece of 40 mm square pipe
I'd like to know the specification of the pipe in the video.
I want to know the size and thickness of the pipe.
Hello my Korean friend! The tube in the middle must be the diameter of your axis. In my case 20mm. The long tube with the handle has a 30mm square tube attached to one end. Take a ¾ "pipe and make it fit a bit.
@@q-bigwerkstatt2 20mm and 30mm tube is thickness ?
Ancora complimenti
This is a copy of the olmaxmotors tyre changer or very close 😁... Great job mate stainless Steel is great too to build from... I've just bought an olmaxmotors one hence my comment if I'm wrong i do apologise..
yes, right, I also orientated myself on the Olmax and on some other manufacturers. I have already recommended the Olmaxmotors to someone because it is really good in terms of price and quality.
How much would you charge to build one and ship it to me
what are the measures of the project?
I think I mentioned it somewhere in the comments. But you better do it like I did in the video and measure the wheels you want to use with it. I made mine from 21" to 17".
Hallo! Darf ich Sie um eine Zeichnung bitten?
Kren alate
Looks like the same one from Olmaxmotors
Exact copy of Olmaxmotor Poland?
not exactly but I used his as a guide, among other things. That's why I recommended him several times in the comments. I think it's the best value for money.
Excuse me
Thickness of white iron square tube?
35mm and 40mm it fits together 👍
I think 2mm thickness
@@q-bigwerkstatt2 Thank you very much.
Excuse me
What is the diameter of the solid iron rod passing through the wheel frame in millimeters?

Can you share the drawings?

How much Bro, if i want to buy it 😊 ?
Thank you for your interest, unfortunately I have very little time to build more of them at the moment :(
@@q-bigwerkstatt2 ok no problem Bro, I understand about your activity, but however I interest about your creation, thank's
Hola,medidas del artilugio tienes😂
somewhere in the other comments I have listed the dimensions, but I would recommend measuring yourself, I built my device for 17" - 21" approximately. when I wanted to mount a 15" and 16" wheel it was difficult. see what you need best
read my answer from "Timo Scheffers" I hope this helps you. 🙂
Super gemacht. i want to build this tire charger. Do you have dimensions? I miss them in the workplan. Please send me a email.
Danke Timo! I built my tire changer for my Scrambler 1200. So it is suitable for 17 "- 21". Make sure that my measurements are also suitable for your tires.
The main frame:
The five blocks of support surfaces: 150mm long
The long one with the 20mm hole: 700mm long
The shorter one with the 20mm hole for the stopper: 330mm long
The two parallel: 500mm
The little one in between: 120mm
With this you will surely get ahead first, the rest you have to adapt to your application purposes.
Thanks for watching and subscribe!

$500 dollars later and probably at least 6 solid hours of work and you have a Tyre changer. That’s a lot of tyres you need to change to justify that. Maybe you could do the whole neighbourhood and charge $10 bucks a Tyre. Nice work though.
I`LL do you a favor ,sell it to me so you can build another one
Why dont you patent your design and start making them
Hello Austin, there are already too many very similar devices and I think if I want to sell a small series lucratively, it will be too expensive for the end customer. Then there is a lot of work in it. In addition, many do not dare to change a tire themselves.
I hope this video gets my viewers to build their own. For example, one man rebuilt my scissor jack and was thrilled, I'm just happy about that 🙂 Greetings from Germany
Kannste nicht meckern
Stainless steel is completely unnecessary.
Just throwing away money.
Well it wont rust and look just as good in 10 years time
👍
