St John Passion: 13. Ach, mein Sinn (piano transcription)

- For the aria following Peter's denial, Bach takes two different approaches in the Passions. In the St Matthew Passion we've heard the introspective Erbarme dich. Here the approach is dramatic and tormentous. The many leaps and dotted against non-dotted rhythm are especially effective, and difficult to play for solo piano. I'll need to spend several months practicing this piece but I must keep going, so for now here's a demo.
Part One (mvts 1-14) is now complete. I hope to make the score available on my Patreon as soon as possible.

Actually, this video is not my performance but a MIDI demo. I didn't injure myself practicing this piece. However, I have probably been playing too intensely for some time and I'm feeling some fatigue in one finger. At the same time I'm having a cold... I'll need to take a rest. Thank you for your support!
My rapid improvement in these two years is largely due to my piano teacher who taught me the right technique and style. I highly recommend studying with a good teacher.
@@RuoshiSun You have been uploading difficult pieces one after another. I can’t play the piano well, but I do. So, when I watched your post, I felt that your finger bones were screaming✋🏻🤚🏻💦 I previously commented to you, "Don't push yourself too hard!" because I was worried about that. Not only your fingers, but the bones in your whole hand will be in such pain that they feel like they are going to break✋🏻⚡️🤚🏻 Since you seem to be suffering from a cold, I recommend that you relax a little.
