There's a big differentiation between a "top player" and "top prospect" he's probably one of the top prospect in the Philippines but he's not the best player out here. There are definitely a lot of players like him in here they just needed chance and the money to do so. But proud of him he's representing us out there In the US.

I counted 3 steals...he has really nice defense! It doesn't matter if you think he's not getting much play time. What matters is he's MAKING the most of the playing time he's been given. Making sure that HE SHOWS up! That's the most important thing for him at this stage.
Support but don't put too much expectations. Coz that's HOW they get bashers and haters. Then leads to frustrations. It's ALSO MORE of a mind game for him in the US. So try not to put too much pressure on him.

Let's not kid ourselves. With his play and at 17-18 yrs of age, he aint going D1. He had a few steals but his team defense wasnt that great. He doesnt read the floor well, he has poor ball-handling skills and cant rebound. He's also playing against unranked players. Guys like Trevon Duval, Jalen Hands and Seventh woods did much better than him in HS and they're pretty much nowhere by now.
Yes, I'm a filipino coach/scout and by the end of the day, these games are still very good for his growth if he wishes to be in the PBA or other asian leagues. This is a much better environment for him. However, NBA is a very, very, very long shot. Let's not get his hopes up but just cheer him on to allow him to enjoy his time and growth.
