The goal of this video is to inform as much of my audience about the future of the channel and the streams. Hopefully those just here for Hearthstone will continue to support the Hearthstone videos while looking into the other variety videos we'll explore in the future!
I think we all want to see you enjoy your time at the end of the day. Being trapped into staleness because of an "allegiance" to hearthstone is just detrimental to your mental health and enjoyment. I'm so much looking forward to the new content, especially ER cause it's very dear to me haha.

I'm glad you decided to make this change, at the end of the day your personal enjoyment from the game/videos should be the top priority.
I personally rarely watch any games on youtube with HS being a rare exception because of channels such as yours; bringing a bit more life and variety to the game. So because of that I probably won't be interested in other games. Will make sure to continue supporting the channel tho! Wish you good luck on this journey, love from eu:)
Also, wanted to let you know you're not alone. I came back to the game like a year ago after a looong break and I'm so fed up with all this. I remember the days when I was grinding ranked/arenas all day, nowadays I run a few games and than turn the game off... not because I get mad, but I'm just completely exhausted from the constant nonsense that's happening in the game. Feel like HS isn't what I used to be, maybe I just gotta take my nostalgia glasses off...

I watched a few diff people, Rarran, Ecore, Zeddy, Even kibler and I swear on my life your content makes me always instant click and like. Even your intros are the best ever. Keep doing what you feel is right. Very Very Very underrated youtuber.
Oh yeah! I'd recommend Age of Wonders 4! Not sure if it's your cup of tea, but it's been one of my top picks from the past year and was my most-played game last year
While my personal favorite game series is Final Fantasy, I'd like to give a shoutout to the Mana series since Visions of Mana is coming out soon. Also: Zelda games, that new Balatro game, it could be fun for you to get a small streamer group together and play Jack Party games or Mario Party, or even some tabletop.
Will be good to have more varied general gaming content. Maybe (p)reviewing new games as well?
Make a video about everything wrong with hearthstone and changes you think would make hearthstone better/ enjoying again!. For me the randomness is completely outta control and takes away any feeling of strategy.. make hearthstone great for once
Hey Clark, i am quite new to the channel. But i am watching you non-stop for the past 4-5 months now. And the best I can tell is that you made me sooo much joy and entertainment over this short period of time, so no matter what you play, I will be eagerd to watch it and still try to support you on twitch while i can.
Btw.: If you like survivor games, I just watched and played subnautica not so long ago. And i loved it. So i think it is a really great and fun game to stream and play also. And watch for us!

Back when Rarran felt like he needed a change I recommended factorio, it may be a totally different type of game, but hear me out, it is a game for thinkers (well and builders), which to me is one of the most fun games ever to exist - the kind of thinking required plus the feeling of planing, building, maintaining and managing the different parts of your factory are very satisfying. Well that is my opinion at least.
Of course we all know Rarran did something else, but you already mentioned that.

baldur's gate 3 is so great, slay the spire, backpack battles, noita, empires of the undergrowth. or play some classics starcraft 2 or warcraft 3 (just play the classic version)
Tons of people have recommended Slay the Spire, but I've seen tons of good reviews and praise for Baldur's Gate 3. I'll add these to my list.

I feel you clark, I came back to Hearthstone the last two months, hit legends twice and just don't feel like playing anymore. Can't imagine playing HS as a main game forever. There's only so much change per month. Plus a lot of non-meta decks feel very pushed out of the meta rn. My fav deck, big spell mage, can get some wins but man when a draw rouge or pain warlock drops two+ 8/8s on t5-6, it legit feels like I didn't even get to play the game.
This is so true. I have lost a lot of interest playing standard. Unless I want to play just meta decks. And they are not fun!!
I got back to Hearthstone recently and I already feel a bit fed up with it. Can't imagine playing it daily and trying to create fun videos about it. lol
Rogue is probably the most interesting class atm, but it's just impossible to enjoy it 'cause you just keep facing the same annoying decks until you finally find something different that lets you maybe pull off those sick combos.
I feel the exact same mate. Came after a longazz break and I can't even play a few games without getting completely tired of it. There's no such thing as "homemade" decks anymore and everything revolves around like 5 stupid strong or totaly nobrain decks that everybody spams
I get it, for me it is seven minutes after midnight and even though I almost exclusively play ranked I just finished the play 10 ranked games quest like 15 minutes ago.
I can see why. I haven't been playing it either. I would if the meta weren't exactly the same for months at this point, and if all the archetypes weren't pretty similar to each other. Next expansion needs to be out like yesterday but there's still another 5 weeks at least.

Exactly the same here, the gameplay has become very monotonous, I have tried to vary it and create my own decks, and I was able to enjoy the game a little more, seeing good results is even satisfying.
But finally you face the same heroes, the same decks and it seems that all the games start the same, it even seems as if the game gave the same starting hand to the rivals, their first card played ''miracle salesman'' like 90% of the times...
Currently I also stopped playing, at most I go to do the daily ones, I started playing Lineage 2 with friends, it's old, but reliving memories from years past has its charm.

i understand your choice, i turned my back to hs because the it keeps disappointing me (i have low standards and i have a lot of love the warcraft universe and card games are my passion!) but u cant stand this shit anymore. to much money greed, insane powercreep, bad balancing, same kind of decks, old interesting cards dont get attention as they derserve, modes are not very rewarding and fun anymore and the list goes on. i wish hs team would get their shit together and make a major change but i lost this hope and now im quitting. its sad but thats how it is sometimes, games can die even if we love from. i wish you the best for your future, i rly enjoyed your hs content!

at the start of whizbang's hs was fun, but then dev team decided to listen to idiots on twitter and reddit and nuke every new card. my interest in hs was kinda low even then, because i really dislike this approach in design, now i'm only playing bgs here and there to complete weeklies, and my main focus shifted to street fighter 6 (never played fighting games before, picked it up on a sale, and now i'm having a blast learning the game). so i can see where desire to play variety comes from
Gta 5 and some rumble also good.
Please play Darkest Dungeon, insane game man I think you´re gonna love it. Also I´m all for variety :) good luck man

idk im kinda tired of you just uploading vods with a little bit of crying before you play them. you dont look in your comments often or at all. you just do a skit before the vods and call it a day
I can assure you that I look at several of the comments in videos, but I can't possibly engage with everyone. I showcased over 30+ decks on CZcams and played even more on Twitch and uploaded the best clips of those decks onto CZcams. And to make the videos seem more curated for the CZcams audience, I add a funny skit in the beginning. There's a lot that happens behind the scenes, but I assure you I do everything I can to make the content entertaining.

There's barely anybody who actually enjoys playing standart right now with all the bs balance changes, game-breaking bugs and meta that hasn't changed in a while and is flooded with nobrain or stupid annoying decks. I'd rather see Clark keeping it real with us and expressing his opinions and feelings about the state of the game than him acting like nothings wrong.
@@ansg1050 if you dont like it. dont play it. nobody is forcing him to play boring decks. he could play twist, arena, wild, battlegrounds etc not like he has to keep crying. also the argument that everyone is not enjoying it doesnt excuse it due to the fact many cc's are getting along fine without crying all of if not most of the video

What even is that arguement? I like HS and I’ve been playing it for nearly 10 years, but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna leave the game beacuse of a bad meta lol. But I won’t be a silent sheep, playing plaque dk all day acting like the game is in a healthy state (when it’s clearly not) like most of the yall either.
The meta is quite literaly forcing you to play the 5 same decks again and again if you actually wanna progress with your rank.
Clearly you don’t understand how youtube works. People watch a certain type of content that they’re used/close to. When most of the viewers of this channel are standart players, you simply can’t just switch to a different gamemode and expect the same reach and engagement from your community. You gotta find a balance between your own enjoyment and actually doing numbers when you do this for a living.
I find your last sentence rather funny, do you really think these people are enjoying the current state of the game? They still gotta make SOME content, of course most of them are gonna stay positive on the cam mostly because they wanna stay on good terms w blizzard.
Not sure who exactly are you reffering to, but I can assure you even people like, let’s say Rarran, admited that they don’t really enjoy the game and only play it when they’re making content out of it - which often has nothing to do with the current meta
