- Always check the air filter, fuel filter and spark plug. Make sure the gas is fresh is the right mix and that the kill wire isn’t shorting out the spark, causing it not to start this one was easy!

Like you I Absolutely Love these Easy fixes,
Here in Ohio we have a gas station called Sheetz and at the pump they offer 90 octane Ethanol FREE Gas thats about $1 more per gallon than the E10/15 gas.
So now I run it in all my small engines and even my ol 1985 F250 that sometimes sits
4 or 5 months without running.
A simple fix is always good. Great job and thanks for the tip on limiter screws and fuel mix
Thanks for watching Joseph, hope all is well!
I've had my Echo for over 20 years I have no complaints !
Limiter caps are absolutely NO BUENO! Good catch good fix. 👍
I wonder why the EPA doesn’t make the Chinese put them on the aftermarket carbs? That would be a real PITA!
Great job once again Ken 👏!!!!
Always enjoy an easy fix. Especially if the H & L needed to be adjusted but that air fliter was really bad on there at least didnt have to go further in the carb but right about the mixture of fuel as well plays a part in the adjustments as well nice work mr ken sir 👍
Thanks for watching!
Nice one. I love my Echo’s too. The mum looks good this year too….
Nice fix Ken
Great job ken 👏
Great job Ken
Your right Echo has a great product with a better warranty then most like Stihl. Rarely do we get an easy fix eh?
😊👍
Got one of these used 3 years ago. It's never given me any trouble in that time.
I couldn't really hear it for four stroking. If I read to tune it by tach, what rpm should I should for at WOT?
Echo says max rpm of 6200-8200
Ken, might you know what would make a Echo PB403 crank fine , run like a scolded cat for about
5 minutes and die , like you cut the kill switch off. Wait about 10 minutes .... starts fine and 4 or 5
minutes is dies again, just shuts down. Got any ideas?
Have you put a spark tester on it? The coil could be breaking down and killing the spark when it gets hot.
@@KensSmallEngineRepair I will check that next ,,, thank you
