  • Nigeria, Africa's largest economy and growth of cities like Lagos and Abuja has seen Nigeria become a major player in business and economics. The Nigeria population of over 200 million people provides opportunities as well as challenges in one of the largest countries in Africa funnily called the giant of Africa. The population growth and economic prosperity of Nigeria comes with social and cultural challenges. Nigeria Tribalism has affected the countries from achieving its full potentials. Nigeria ties too much importance on culture and inheritance and chiefdoms across the country. North and Southern Nigeria unification has posed enormous challenges for the Nigeria government in meeting the needs and aspirations of the different cultures in Nigeria like Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba's, Benin people of Edo state of Nigeria causing many cultural and tribalistic difference and tendencies making it impossible for citizens of Nigeria to agree on common projects and investments. Nigeria is very divided as a result of different cultures pushed by tribalism with over 200 languages being spoken across Nigeria, Nigerian do not even agree on inter-marriage amongst its citizens making the cultural differences in Nigeria so eminent hence tribalism being a fertile ground. Lagos being the economic capital of Nigeria, the city of Lagos brings in business and scale the Nigerian economy in different ways and enable people flying to Mutala Muhammed international airport coming from Paris France using airfrance, Brussels airlines. Nigeria, an African country on the Gulf of Guinea, has many natural landmarks and wildlife reserves. Protected areas such as Cross River National Park and Yankari National Park have waterfalls, dense rainforest, savanna and rare primate habitats. One of the most recognizable sites is Zuma Rock, a 725m-tall monolith outside the capital of Abuja that’s pictured on the national currency.
Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city, sprawls inland from the Gulf of Guinea across Lagos Lagoon. Victoria Island, the financial center of the metropolis, is known for its beach resorts, boutiques and nightlife. To the north, Lagos Island is home to the National Museum Lagos, displaying cultural artifacts and craftworks. Nearby is Freedom Park, once a colonial-era prison and now a major venue for concerts and public events.
Abuja is the capital city of Nigeria, in the middle of the country. The skyline of the city, which was built largely in the 1980s, is dominated by Aso Rock, an enormous monolith. It rises up behind the Presidential Complex, which houses the residence and offices of the Nigerian president in the Three Arms Zone on the eastern edge of the city. Nearby are the National Assembly and the Supreme Court of Nigeria
