Wow. This is historic
Wow! This is just what they want!
Price ??? Because it doesn’t matter if is over the counter if the price is not make it accesible to all people
Billions $$$$$$$$
$49 for 3 months, to me doesn’t make sense with rx its free
It’s $18 at Walmart
$18 for a one month supply, $49 for 3 months
I'm 100% on board with this. But something to consider since healthcare is unfortunately a bazillion dollar business run by the insurance companies: will the availability of this OTC medication give insurance companies an excuse to no longer cover certain rx BC pills? For example, I have been prescribed things in the past that my insurance would not cover because a different dosage was available OTC. I could have paid a huge out of pocket fee for the rx or choose to pay a reasonable amount for the OTC and just adjust the dosage. Now, that was well before "Obamacare" so I don't know how the regulations apply these days. But it's something to consider.
It's written into Obamacare. They have to cover it. Not only that, there are many different kinds of birth control pills- this one is just progestine. Some also have estrogen- those aren't over the counter.
..All birth control should be free, imo. Completely covered. Especially with these abortion bans. It's too dangerous for some women to go through pregnancy.
The Affordable Care Act requires all insurance companies to fully cover the cost for generic brand birth controls. So that shouldn't be an issue at all (at least as the law stands now). Thanks Obama ☺️
Do we have to pay for it? I think menstrual pads should be free, that's part of woman's rights too.
🎯 That's all health care. Yes. I can't think of anything men have to purchase that isn't covered & they have to buy 12x a year. Heck, even if they have something as minor as jock itch they could go to the doctor & get a prescription.
Lol…I just got the name the Oh-Pill…..😂
Finally MTV teen moms can stop now😂
This is the first step in removing insurance coverage for birrth control
is the pill strictly birth control or can it help with painful menstrual cramps?
I guess no menstruation no cramps 😊
It’s democrat population control only
@@DG-hw8itThis pill stops menstruation?
Magnesium supplements are good for the cramps
Doctors have prescribed birth control as a tool to help with painful menstrual cramps for ages.
This is great step for women's and men's reproductive rights and healthcare.
It's certainly a great thing for men! Sad.
It’s a great step further toward global population collapse! 😅
Conservatives : it sure is 😂
@@carnaud Yes, because we really need to reproduce more. 😏
@@ElleGen Species collapse is underway globally. Human populations are crashing. So yea… 🤷♂️
Hopefully this is safe
Thank you! Yay! A big opportunity for young women to help themselves😊
Honestly, learning to say NO is would be a lot more beneficial to young women. But you're right as far as men go - this is a huge opportunity.
@@scillyautomatic👆🏼Flacid weenie rage deflection alert.
@@scillyautomatic - You try telling that to all the young women who've said no and were sexually assaulted as a direct result of men refusing to take No for an answer.
Yay!!!!! Global population collapse and the decadence of a corrupt society here we come!!!!! 🥳🎉
Might as well bring back lead pipes and narcotics in over the counter medications!
Big opportunity for conservatives since they’ll be the majority reproducing.
The Catholic Church will have a meltdown. According to it, contraception is a "mortal sin."
That’s why they have s3x with boys as they don’t get pregnant
The pope can get bent
Every sperm is sacred bro!
Let them melt.
Oh yeah well I guess that's their problem.
Ooooo I Love it. Needed this last year when my abusive ex Hubby got me pregnant. Decided to Ab*rt & after the clinic prescribed me 1 years worth of Birth Control. It saved my Life & I don’t stay attached to a cruel man with a Child. Birth Control is A CHANCE AT A BETTER LIFE!
This is truly great news.
Wait till Ole Clarence and Slippery Sam Alito get their hands on this.
They won't be able to do anything about it. The US Constitution has no prohibitions against contraceptives.
@@neopagan1976 The Griswold decision changes everything
@@davidschneider6306 The Griswold decision doesn't allow any state to place a ban on the use of contraceptives since to do so violates the right to marital privacy. therefore, The Griswold decision has constitutional backing.
Huge leap forward in advancing women’s reproductive rights. Congratulations!🍾🥂🍸
Do you mean MURDER rights?
@@cathyrichard2739 You clearly don't know what you're talking about.
So will men be able to buy it?
If it's over the counter I don't see why not.
If men can buy pads and tampons for their girlfriend, why couldn't they purchase this too?
Go home Karen
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 💯
Cool
"Reproductive Rights"??? Are you serious? No physical, no Dr.? Go to bed without a husband? Are you serious?
I wish they had this before my wife spit out 3 kids.
Yay! Finally!!!!!!!!!
Prepare for a rise in issues in the womb
I never used BC and I had Adenomyosis, endometriosis and cysts. You know nothing 😉
Can we airdrop pallets of them in democrat voting cities and dystopian urban core jurisdictions?
Why do that? They're not the ones trying to ban healthcare. This is basically an end run around the regressives trying to keep their women barefoot and pregnant
I know you were trolling with that comment, but those of us living in large cities stuck in conservative states would actually be into it.
@@MyEntertainment00your comment made no sense. You should have said 'Can we go into the past and drop them at your mom's house?' THE PAST not the future. But thanks for giving me a good 😂 laugh, l really needed one today. And thank you to the 5 people who hit the 'like' button on your comment who are too dumb to see your mistake: they gave me a good laugh too. 👍😅
@@John-sk8cm both of us dummies editing our comments. Look at us. Thanks for your help.
It should be dropped into all areas. Amen
Population decline globally…I got an idea! Expand access to birth control without a doctor! 😅. Sell them at 7-11! Give them catchy names like womb broom, papa stopper, junior miss, inconceivable….(Credits George Carlin R.I.P.)
Whine and cry about it, male.
Why do you think that offering birth control OTC will cause population collapse? That is an extremely hysterical reaction you are having. Majority of humans are still having kids regardless of whether they take BC or not.
Advancing technology can always offer a type of solution to a great many problems.
However, it's always the case that there will be other, unintended consequences.
You really can't fight mother nature.
Women are the ones to get pregnant.
Pregnant men is a nonsensical, fraudulent idea.
This pill (or another) can provide some answers, but the fact is that people - men and women, need to step up and return to some idea of responsible behavior.
That's been missing, more and more, since the cultural revolution of the 60's.
Never heard the term “reproductive rights”
It's been around since the 90's at least.
@@monkeytennis7477pretty sure it’s better around since Roe, maybe before. So at least the 70s
The breakdown of American families has just begun! No Morals, no waiting for marriage, No praying together for children?
Let your 14 yr. Old go to bed with anyone?
Yet Drs. Are needed to deliver babies. 😩
Over the counter MURDER pill..
Y'all don't want abortions
But also don't want couples to protect themselves from unwanted pregnancies???
What kind of logic is that? It’s not even a pregnancy
Birth control PREVENTS pregnancy
@@wooshydogCathy is a little slow
This is how little human life means to many Americans.
Human life? What are you talking about? This is preventative medication. The morning-after pill, which I'm assuming you're talking about, has been OTC for as long as I've needed to buy them. 😊
Imagine trying to force other people to live your way of life/ ideology ………this applies to both parties or religion
@davidhenning What the heck are you saying? Birth control to make sure a woman doesn't get pregnant is equivalent to how little life means to them?? Your logic is cracked.
No one is stopping you from pursuing child rearing. Please, by all means, go make 2 for every person you come across who doesn't want to birth any.
Every sperm is sacred.
This is great! Who wants to be trapped by some slu7 for 18 years.....for a baby that probabaly isnt yours anyway?! Kudos to making birth control easier to access!
