Kevin’s Wario has a LOT of work to do but this is a decent start. Also his Mario and Luigi are damn near spot on imo, overall a solid successor to Charles so far
There was a part of the first cutscene where Kevin’s Wario reminded me of how Charles sounded in Wario Land 4.
His Mario is definitely good but not in this game imo. He could've done a lot better in the Super Mario 64 DS slide microgame.

Honestly I think it's amazing! I love how much more expression and life Kevin breathes into the voice. Not to say that Charles' was bad, far from it, I just like Kevin's new take on Wario. Still has the same vibe and accent while being much more talkative, I love it!

I was not expecting nintendo to put that detail in for 3DS fans That had Warioware Gold!
Kevin had a LOT of pressure for his first performances. He had to voice the Mario Bros for a BIG mainline 2D Mario game and he had to voice Wario in full sentences for this game. I think he's doing incredible so far and I'm excited to hear his voice in new games to come.
I wish him the best in the future!

Just watched the cast list near the end and yup it's the very same character! That's really neat they put a Wario Land character in a Wario Ware game, maybe we will see more land characters in future ware games

I remember seeing her in Crickets trailer for Gold and mistook her for Mona until a bit later I realized she was supposed to be the girl who appeared alongside him in Rhythm Heaven
It sucks not many people know Rhythm Heaven otherwise more people would be excited

Bro Afghani is killing it with these voices, this voice is awesome and really fits Wario. Dude's 100% a worthy successor to Martinet. Honestly can't wait to here what his Waluigi will sound like.

Afghani’s Mario and especially Luigi’s voices are really good but I just don’t feel the same way about Wario’s voice. It doesn’t have the same impact as Martinet’s Wario imo
@@supermario863 All of Afghani's voices for these guys, Mario, Luigi, and Wario all feel the same way. All of them have same impact as Martinet's voices for the characters they just sound a bit different.

I'm very curious to see what Kevin has for Waluigi. Some of Luigi's voice lines in Wonder are already kinda Waluigi-ish, so I'm excited to see how he'll do when actually making lines for Waluigi!

When you think about it, Wario isn't actually antagonistic at all in this game.
No one is being screwed over, and the only time he did cause trouble, it's because of a curse he didn't expect, let alone care about.

I would have much preferred he got his own voice actor. Kevin has a LOT of work to do. There are *Moments* where it sounds like Wario, but largely it sounds almost nothing like him.
I’m happy these are back, Warioware gold was a treat for content 🤩
These are definitely the smoothest cutscenes have been (at least since game and wario), really good!

It’s hard to explain, but Wario sounds more like a person. If I ran into someone sounding like old Wario I’d do a double take, but this Wario’s just kind of a guy. Not a bad thing, not at all. Like others have said, could use a bit more tweaking, but a great start!

The amount of Rhythm Heaven character cameos make me so giddy.
I absolutely love the new Wario voice! It's definitely different but that's a good thing! Kevin shouldn't just recreate what Charles created. It's great that he's making his own spin on the voice. Making this no longer Charles's Wario but now Kevin's Wario. The same can be said for Mario and Luigi. It's Kevin's own spin which in turn, gives them a new identity in a way.

It's a great impression, Kevin nailed the accent almost perfectly. Of course his voice isn't going to be one-to-one, but he's at least got the accent spot-on. What really sold me on the new voice is when he speaks at 20:08. Kevin really nailed the subtleties in Wario's voice, like the way he rolled the r in 'worst' and 'ever'. And he really nailed the Waaah! as well. I just hope he's good at Waluigi too.
