In this discourse, two questions have been answered by Om Swami.
The first question asked was- Is there a difference between believing in someone and simply following that person?
Om Swami says that there is a big difference between believing someone and believing in someone. When one believes somebody they follow them but it’s more at a surface level and is a material concept. But when one believes in somebody it is a given that they follow him or her but more than that it means that they trust them. Believing in someone is a higher form of trust and is a spiritual notion.
The second question asked was- Who created thoughts, and how and why?
Om Swami says that he believes in the evolutionary theory which happened thousands of years ago, when human beings had to come down from the trees to walk on the earth due to massive fires. From four-legged when they became two-legged the gravity and the weight of the brain caused a split to their brain with the right and left hemispheres with the cortex. This then started the process of thinking and it was an evolutionary process and did not happen immediately he says.
From the vedic point of view, the universe was created with a resolve (a thought) from the mind of Hiranyagarbha. As everything is created by THE MIND, our mind remains an integral part of our whole existence including our liberation, bondage, miseries, pain, and joy. Without our human brain, there will be no thought says Om Swami.

What I understood was that in the process of human evolution, when we began to walk on two feet instead of all fours as a consequence of gravity, the brain evolved with the formation of two hemispheres with cortex in the middle. Thoughts apparently came into play in the human mind at this time of evolution.

How to get initiation from him pls🙏 tell..
Swamiji initiates any one who have met him anytime once. You have to fill a form on os.me website for initiation after meeting the prior conditions which I think is not open after Jan 2020. I personally believe having faith and belief in Swamiji's teachings is not less than initiation.
