    A two person tent will save a lot on accomadation.Camping grounds provide clean toilets, showers, washing machines etc.Obviously in city centres you will have to use hostels.
    Buy food at supermarkets, in particuliar Aldi or at markets, late in the day when stall holders are practically giving stock away.Vietnamese food is reasonably priced.And do what Australians do, eat cheapish meals in public bars.

      We also shopped in Aldi every time we had the change
      And after we traveled with the Greyhound bus tent was not an option I think tents would be more fitting in a car 😊

      A two person tent is extremely compact.I also want to mention water is safe to drink in Australia and taps, bubblers and refill stations are conveniently located through out the country
