Watch out folks that want to buy Avavta 2.. Only if you own one of a limited number of phone models will you be able to download and use the DJI Fly App and therefore you will not be able to set it up... I'm returning an Avata 2 I just bought due to this.
did you get the impression THAT US AUSTRALIANS LOVE DANISH PEOPLE ??? BTW IT WILL BE 3C TOMORROW 19jUNE
Yes it was also the perfect time we was in Australia -when they got to be king and queen 🥳
I have this drone and the way i fix the signal limitation is via drone tweaks.
@dontpushpush Yes i hear about that how does it work? Have you both get opened for speed and range? ☺️
@@Chris_travellust you just need to link the drone with the apps(drone tweaks) via cable. Once apps detect your drone. It should works. Yes. I got much further range and speed.
@@dontpushpush i tried downloading a ham file to the drone, I got the range but I don’t feel any difference in speed, maybe I should try it ☺️
@@Chris_travellust have a try. this is my footage. i got the range and speed. but very windy condition. czcams.com/video/LTCZt9q1ims/video.html
Actually, Perth and Western Australia has the best weather and it's not unpredictable.
This time we only did the East-cost But looking forward to do the west-coast one day as well 😜 But we have to save up to could afford a Camper-van for this trip 💯
💯💯🔥
Thank you 🙏
None of dji drone will go anywhere near what they promise in almost the best conditions. They are to busy controlling their customers with line of sight and all that. I’m actually done with dji. Autel baby. No nfz, no dumbing down transmission. Goes way further and in my opinion is better. As far as fpv goes, never would I goe with dji. Built your own and go as far as you want. No remote id. The way it should be. Be your own person.
For me building my own FPV drone was too big of a step. as a first-time FPV drone user, the DJI Avata 2 is good because it is a pre-build drone, and that made trying out the FPV world so much easier ☺️ For a beginner, I think it is fine ☺️
@@Chris_travellust That is a good point. And you are right. For a begginer, it’s the way to go.
You are right too building our own is definitely the way to go if you want to go pro ☺️
Just ordered mine a few days ago cant wait!

Similar to the British, Aussies have evolved a sense of humour which invokes a lot of "taking the piss" (making fun of). We do it to ourselves as much as we do it to others, but it is meant to be light-hearted. You will truly know if we are serious!
The Aussie way - never taking anything too seriously! Yes i found out! 🙂
Haha enjoy australia 😊 your right about the east coast I live on the west coast and its pure bliss

Well you swearing,,, Good start for Australia..LOL

That is an American Opossum on the thumbnail, we don't have opossums. We have possums, who are extreamly cute and not aggressive like the opossum.
Well I did not know there was a different back then, we only meet them in dark so it can be hard to identify ✌️😁

Eighty percent of the worlds parrot species are Australian, they are the noisy screeching birds you hear.
Thank you for the comments yes I loves that! I remember up in cairns the was loud as crazy 😁
The mistake is no one talking about : own mistake.
If you look at the other comment you will see both Mad’s Tech, and Bardwell have made videos covering this issue as well. and notice it was an issue at the DJI Avata #1 as well
I thought this was common knowledge. These things aren't magic, so of course flying in between two thick rock walls will degrade range. That, and the EU limitations hurt but always fly LOS as much as possible, or in the open where you can easily activate RTH
The EU limitations are removing the purpose of why I bought FPV This is stopping you from doing mountain surfing etc... If I had known about this beforehand I would have spent my money on a Mavic to elevate my videos to the next level 🙂
@@Chris_travellust search for ham file.
Have just bought a new memory card for it, gonna try it here one of the coming days before my next trip with the DJI Avata 😁
@Chris_travellust so rather then blaming dji maybe you should have checked the drone regulations in your country.
@@DESTINYFPV if you had been watching the video you would know i don’t blame DJI, But that i want to put focus on the regulation, so other people can take this in consideration before they do the purchase Like i told you before (4 hours ago on you other comment) don’t comment before you have been watching the video 😀
Nothing burger!!
What do you mean?
That was the same issue with the first Avata
Well this is the first FPV for me so I can only speak out from that But I still think they should let you know before you buy it if you are in a CE country
😂 you didn’t know about the “HAM” File Mad’s Tech, and Bardwell talked about that a month ago. I thought there was actual something wrong.
No, I have only had this drone for a month-ish - well Here in Indonesia and I guess in every other CE mode country, the drone is limited a lot 🙂
I thought tbis was common knowledge, if you have line of sight to the drone with the controller then typically theres no issues, if you go behind a home maybe not so bad, go behind multiple homes, there will be issues, same with anything such as terrain, going behind anything wkth large enough mass to block the signal will cause issues, its like good ole bluetooth, or WiFi, depends on what is between yourself with a device and the other device, i.e the router, more obstacles a signal has to pass through the harder it will be to get optimal signal strength.
You are right! what you are talking about is common knowledge 🙂 I am not talking about interference from what material is around you but the limitations around which country you are flying the drone in (CE or FCC)
Til alle os i 🇩🇰 denne drone må kun flyves 30 m. Væk uden en spotter. Det er nok det støreste minus
De Danske regler når de er bedst... 🙃
Be careful when flying the drone sir 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
I will thank you :)
Welcome to FPV. Advertised range is always best-case under ideal conditions. If you fly behind an obstacle, range is reduced. Now you know.
The advertised range is made in FCC mode and is not durable under any conditions you flying in CE mode as you do by default if you are in a CE country unless… You HACK the drone which makes the drone illegal in some countries if not all of them (can only speak for my own) ✌️ Therefore I believe they should put way more focus on it before you purchase the drone so you can decide if you want to fly an illegally drone or not when you are in a CE country If you want to I can share the list of which countries that are using each mode? 😌
Spot on as usual bardwell 👌
@JoshuaBardwell can you make a video comparing the avata 2 to a similar fpv cinewhoop setup to weigh pros and cons of both?
@@Chris_travellustI only fly in FCC regardless, Its better because IT’S SAFER! The European laws are ridiculous making you wonder if you can actually fly FPV anymore since you need a qualified spotter. Not only with FPV drones, I mean any other drone keeping it in line of sight makes the telemetry irrelevant since you don’t look at the screen, you need to see the drone at all times. Look away for 1 second, its enough for it to dissapear while if you look at the screen you know where it is. Makes me wonder how long this hobby will survive with the everchanging laws. I never blame other pilots for this laws because I look at the statistics regarding drone incidents and are really low. I try to ignore when possible, use common sense and stay away from Karens. Never had any problems in 5 years of flying but often feel anxious. FCC mode is the way to fly , for safety reasons, last thing we want is to lose signal and hit somebody. Nice video, subscribed
@@cipri198zero agree those rules make no sense. I hope as more people are getting into it they will change the rules, to something that would be acceptable. In many cases then I film videos on mountains and nature spot, I get to 100 meters way to easily 😁
A two person tent will save a lot on accomadation.Camping grounds provide clean toilets, showers, washing machines etc.Obviously in city centres you will have to use hostels. Buy food at supermarkets, in particuliar Aldi or at markets, late in the day when stall holders are practically giving stock away.Vietnamese food is reasonably priced. And do what Australians do, eat cheapish meals in public bars.
Thanks for the advice! We also shopped in Aldi every time we had the change And after we traveled with the Greyhound bus tent was not an option I think tents would be more fitting in a car 😊
A two person tent is extremely compact.I also want to mention water is safe to drink in Australia and taps, bubblers and refill stations are conveniently located through out the country
@@petermcculloch4933 Yes We loved that, It felt good to be able to get water everywhere :)
You must be living under a rock.
Did reply to your other comment ✌️
This isn't new we all know about this .
As a first-time FPV user, this is something I’ve found out after buying the drone, and this is where I think it’s wrong. You should know this beforehand! Like: 😂 I have a DJI Mavic, an old one… I bought it second-hand I thought the issue was that it was an old drone, and after I only used it to film myself, the drone got the job done by fine! But I have no doubt, that the shoot could have been 10x times better if the range was optimal
Thx for the info... something to seriously think about... still i think i will purchase it
@Chris_travellust just like buying any other product you got to do your homework so that you can make an informed decision that's your job not dji's. Pretty sure most people had no idea about fcc and ce mode untill after owning it for awhile but the ce mode isn't exclusive to dji the power regulation is decided by the country you live in.
@@DESTINYFPV yes… if you have been watching the video you would know i say that in it…

fair dinkum? i did not know that. heres one for you, the galaxy has 100-200billion stars our planet has 3 trillion trees. and we have been giving them a fair nudge for the last couple of hundred years
Great honest comments. As an Aussie, I can't help but wonder if people are getting the best out of their trip by doing all of the "classic" tourist activities at all of the classic places. One thing I notice is that most tourists start in Sydney and think that is the be-all of this country. Because of this many aspects of the place have become a little stereotypical and touristic. I know the Opera House is pretty cool but I feel like a lot of the CZcamsrs over hype the experience for people back home and probably spend a little too much time on it. I saw it once for the first time when I was 24, took it in for a few minutes and then moved on. Its not to say that you shouldn't hang out there if you really enjoy it, plus I guess it was constructed by a Danish architecht. Just my two cents on tourism in Australia. You may also find a lot of places you are visiting from Byron Bay up to Queensland are also very touristic. It is true that there is only one barrier reef, but there are also a lot of hidden gems people don't talk about as much, because they are off the normal tourist trail. The problem is also how big this country truly is.
I agree! Seeing the opera house was cool, But after a few pictures, we moved on to the park 😇 How we traveled the east coast of Australia is similar to how many are traveling it! I wanted it to be different, but we had trouble finding a Sleeping Van in Melbourne and decided to move along with busses instead, which locked us pretty much to the tourist destinations and where a rental car could take us. I want to return and travel the West Coast like that, with a sleeping van. I know to see what Australia truly has to offer you need to get away from the normal paths and out into the wilderness and find the hidden gems (But waiting for the right time) 😄
Yeah, you are right - Perth weather is a little similar to Melbourne. It can rain a fair bit in winter. They've really had a prolonged summer over there this year but had some decent first rains last week. Melbourne does get quite a bit cooler in winter with quite a few days around 13 degrees maximum. In Perth you get a lot of days around 18 degrees and if it is really cold and raining it might get down to 16-17. A sunny day might get up to 20-21, but you are rolling the dice if you go in winter. Summers there can get super hot though as well (40+ on some days) and you may like that, particularly if heading to the beach. My favourite time in WA is spring, but that's just me. Perth has the most number of sunny days of any of the cities though. If you are wanting to see a little more of WA and you are planning on staying in the country for a while, I'd suggest going down the coast through the wine region and beaches from Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Margaret River and maybe Augusta. It is a pretty unique area and definitely not too isolated. There is a lot more to Australia than our cities. I know you might be on a budget but you should stop to have a nice meal at one of the wineries. It should be a good little adventure. There are some really nice quiet beaches but there are also some of the best surf breaks on earth down there too.
Hi Again and thanks for your comment And a lot of all those recommendations you have shared I will save them for when we are gonna travel the west coast of Australia. Australia has so good nature and animal life I was surprised and believe it is even more amazing at the West Coast 🦘📸
Great video. Love your energy guys. You may be interested to know that Melbourne quickly rose up to officially be the world's richest city in the 1800's. Perth has taken over as the mining capital of the country since and in terms of cleanliness and anti-littering, it is next level. I believe Melbourne has roughly the same amount of people as the entire of Denmark. While there are skyscrapers in the CBD, just about all of us prefer to live in suburban detached single or double story homes with a front and back yard. I have to drive a little over 20 km to get into the city to get to work, but it means I can live in a tranquil area 1km from a quiet beach.
Hi and thank you for your comment! 😍 It's great info, so you are saying in Perth it is even more clean? 🔥 Yes Denmark is a small country, really small compared to Australia haha think you can drive from one side to the other in around 2-3 hours 😂
