- Justin claims this car has only 10,500 miles... I think he may have missed a digit. Either way, it's in desperate need of some love, so let's start with the suspension!
Follow along as we install a Choppin' Block front kit, along with our basic rear setup, with Slam Specialties air bags all around. We also notched the rear frame to get that extra couple of inches of drop- let me know in the comments if you think the effort was worth it!
I'll be sure to post a follow-up when this car comes out of paint- he's hoping to have it done in time for Slamboree next year, so only 10 or so months to go!
Rear shocks- KYB part number 344097
Short oil filter to clear front shocks- WIX part number 51258 - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I have a 70 deville convertible I'm working on. Can't wait to bag mine. 😁
Can't wait to see yours when yours is done
Good job Phil. As always
Absolutely beautiful car! White walls are killer!
Looking good
Great info. Thanks!!
Super Projekt !
Looks great guys! I'm not sure I want mine laying all the way out, but I definitely plan on bagging it.
Getting it flat on the ground is easy when you don’t have to worry about the floor or exhaust- leaving it an inch or two higher than this car saves a ton of extra work!
@@twistedimages405 mine has really nice floors and carpet, so I don't wanna have to cut up the tunnel. That's basically the only reason 🤣
Very cool 🤙 I have a bagged 65 drop myself. I used my 78 fleetwood rear end with disc brakes and the 93-96 fleetwood front brakes bolt right up with an opgi kit.
Nice! I’ll pass that info along to the owner- he’s still researching disc brake kits
Awesome thanks picking up one in a week or two it's been sitting under a tree for way too long. Such a beautiful car.
@@Lost10mm. very cool 🤙
Oh thats so badass. Phil im going to have to be your shop hand that works for free :)
How could I say no to that? Come on by anytime haha
He's standing by that 10,000 miles fellas!!🤣🤣🤣
lol! After we pointed out that the rear shocks had been replaced and one of the drums had wrecking yard paint markings on it, I think he’s changed his stance a bit!

Lol!! You guys are so cool, man!! I love it!! Keep up the outstanding work and the videos coming!!👍
65 66 4 door 2 door or rag all look good on the floor.
Looks great , i search a airride system for my Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 1974 only Airbags and shocks
Nice lowrider
Do yall regularly install air suspensions on 3rd Gen DeVilles? I’m finishing up closing on a 66’ Coupe Convertible and was interested in doing a bag setup on it
We had three come through the shop in the last year- two ‘65s and a ‘68. Definitely reach out when you get the car- I’d be happy to help you pick out a suspension setup!
how to you know what distance to space the caster where the tension rod used to be ? also adjusting it after installed ?
I matched the length to the stock parts- figured that would get us in the ballpark before sending the car to alignment.
@@twistedimages405 i gotcha. makes sense . im curious if they need to adjust caster is their an easy way to do so without disconnecting the shock, bag, and front arm mount ?
I might be getting my dream car 63 caddy coupe devile blue. Perfect car for Vegas! Where are you located if I want it layed out
We’re located near Oklahoma City. Bit of a drive from Vegas, but we’d love to work on it!
Why didn’t Jordan put disc brakes on
He’s going to do some more research on kits first- he wants to run ‘57 Caddy caps which require deep dish steel wheels, so he doesn’t want to run into caliper clearance issues.
what size tire is that one using?
215/70-15
IMPO these cars look so ugly when bagged and lowered like this... very trashy
You're certainly entitled to your opinion. You could have also kept it to yourself, but here we are...
@@twistedimages405 Yes I could have but sharing opinions is what a comment section is for... but you're probably right, if you don't have anything nice to say, than don't say anything at all... but I just hate seeing these classic cars being bastardized
